I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Yorkshire Collie Club Committee for inviting me to judge their Special Award Classes.  Thank you to the exhibitors for their entries & allowing me to go over their beautiful dogs.  Also huge thank you to my steward for keeping the ring running smoothly.

1st Mill’s Lemivee Connie’s Songbird 10 month old bitch, stood alone in this class, very striking S/W bitch.  Lovely shaped head with dark almond shaped eyes, ears placed well on top giving that overall sweet expression.  She has a lovely outline which showed off her lovely reach of neck. she has well laid shoulders, good spring of rib, nice top line which was held on the move. Correct tail set.  Attentive to her handler, moved around the ring well.

Special Award Post Graduate Dog/Bitch 7 (2)
1st Randall’s Ladnar’s Call My Name (JW) 21 month old B/M dog, of good colour.  He has a nice head with a lovely dark brown obliquely set almond shaped eye, correct stop, with good under jaw.  Ears nicely placed on top which were used well, has lovely reach of neck, into well laid shoulders, of lovely shape & outline.  Has good rear angulation, with good turn of stifle, moves with drive, holding his lovely top line.  Presented beautifully.

2nd Randall’s Ladnars Secret Gift 21 month old B/M bitch (litter sister to above) another beautiful blue from this kennel.  This little bitch has a sweet expression, dark almond shaped eye, correctly placed stop, nicely filled muzzle, well placed ears which were used well.  Of lovely conformation, nice bone.  Moved & showed well, coming back in to coat, as above beautifully presented.

3rd Dodsworth’s Libanel Everlasting Dezire.

1st Wrays-Ramsden Bel Ch Takhisis Lady Of Mystery (BW24, BW25) 4 years old,  another beautifully presented S/W bitch who stood out for me.  She has a lovely head, nicely placed dark almond shaped eye, correct stop, well placed ears which were used giving that overall pleasing expression.  She has a good reach of neck, carries a good top line which was held on the move.  She is in good proportion, nice spring of rib, good turn of stifle, lovely short hocks with tight feet, has good length of tail.  Well presented, moved well, attentive to handler.

2nd Ross’s Siluto Blue Wizard At Amberwish 3 year old, very well presented blue merle dog, head of good proportion, correct placement of stop, with dark brown almond eye, good ear placement, has good reach of neck  into well placed shoulders, carries his top line well on the move, has good turn of stifle, tight feet.  Moved well, was carrying his tail little proud today.
