Lancashire & Cheshire Collie Club – 3 May, 2026

Minor Puppy Bitch. (4/4)
Ingledene Sno Secret – 7 ½ months old blue merle, of excellent breed type.  Well coated for her age.  Very good head planes, eye shape and set excellent, good ear placement.  Unsettled in movement today, but a very promising youngster. Good bone, and well angulated.
Serenlas Shes on Trend – sable bitch, same age as the winner, but a different style.  Good outline, well balanced and her head qualities earned her 2nd place in this class.  Still well coated for age, with a very happy temperament,

Puppy Bitch. (2/2)
Chelborn Blue Me Away – Another very pretty blue merle - 10 ½ months old.  Very clean head, good eye set and shape, well placed and used ears. Well coated and she covered the ground well.  Could have better hind angulation, but this may well develop.  Best Puppy Bitch of Breed, BEST PUPPY IN SHOW.
Lemivee Connies Songbird – Golden sable of 10 months.  She wasn’t too confident today, which impacted on movement.  Disappointing for her handler.  Well coated, but without the head qualities of the winner.  Well balanced, and a pretty expression when she settled.

Junior Bitch (2/4)

Uffspring Unique Espoir – tricolour of 15 months.  She won the class on her head qualities, with a sweet expression.  Topline was disappointing, but improved on the move. Good bone, angulation and she was well coated.
Jards Cudmirrah Special – tricolour of just over 12 months.  She has good bone and angulation, but ear placement was too wide, and with a heavy fold, which detracted from expression I was looking for.  Also a little too long in body for me – well coated, and covered the ground well on the move.

Novice Bitch (7/4)
Ladnar Secret Gift – Blue merle of 21 months of age, A very pleasant head, with a sweet expression. Nice eye set and shape, good ear set and well coated. Good outline, and she moved well enough, but could be stronger in hindquarter.
Uffspring Unique Espoir

Graduate Bitch. (9/9)
Gemheid May’d of Gold for Stregato – 2 year old golden sable who impressed me with her clean outline.  Slightly larger than some, but still oozed quality.  Head qualities not quite as good but her eye shape and colour, and ear set extremely good.  Lovely reach of neck. Coat fitted the outline of the dog, and she moved freely and showed herself so well.  Certainly an eyecatcher!
Erjon Emblazed in Blue – Unlucky to meet the winner today, a quality blue merle of 3 years old.  Another with a very good outline, pleasing head, good eye shape and well set ears. Well coated and she covered the ground on the move.

Post Graduate Bitch. (3/3)
Corydon Christiana – 2 year old, very pretty sable bitch.  On the smaller side of the size range, but stacks of quality.   Such a clean, well shaped head, good eye set and shape, neat ears which she used well.  Sweet expression.  Exceptional hind angulation – beautiful turn of stifle and well let down hocks.  Moved with effortless power.
Ingledene Connie McBlack – 3 year old tricolour.  Another quality bitch with a good outline, but not the hindquarters of the winner.  Clean head, with a lovely dark eye, and she moved well.

Limit Bitch. (9/8)
Ingledene Crystal Vision of Phreelancer – 4 year old blue merle bitch of excellent breed type.  Beautiful blue colour, very feminine, sweet expression, well set and shaped eyes, well placed and used ears, amazing arch of neck, lovely outline.  Well coated and in wonderful show condition.  Moved effortlessly. Such an eyecatcher! Typifies the opening line of the breed standard “The Collie should instantly appeal as a dog of great beauty”. Bitch Challenge, Best of Breed, BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW.
Wicani Bellissima Rosschell – another very nice blue merle.  At just 20 months of age, this one has a promising future.  Beautiful blue colour, lovely break up, just coming back into coat so lacking the finish of the winner. Head and eye not the quality of the winner.  Good bone, well balanced, handled to perfection.  Correct and effortless movement. This one will certainly do well in the show ring ongoing.

Open Bitch (10/8)
Ch Skabona If I Saw You in Heaven for Chelborn JW (Imp Sweden) – Outstanding 3 year old blue merle, pleasing head and expression, lovely outline, good neck, well balanced.  Moved effortlessly as required by the standard.  In excellent show condition – another beautiful blue merle.  Reserve Challenge Bitch
GIB Ch Serenlas Angel of Casatentola – 4 year old tricolour in beautiful condition.  Most pleasing head and expression, good eye set and shape, neat ears which she used well.  Good outline, well balanced, and moved effortlessly.

Veteran Bitch.  (7/5)

Ch ingledene Sno Wanda – another stunning blue merle.  7 ½ years old but carrying her age so well.  In good bloom. Lovely head and eye, planes of head outstanding. Lovely outline, effortless movement, excellent angulation front and rear.  Best Veteran of Breed, BEST VETERAN IN SHOW.
Cambrogans Blowin a Hoolie – similar age to the winner.  In beautiful condition, this sable bitch was a heavier style, with a pleasant head although eyes a little round.  Used her ears well, and her temperament was a delight.  She powered around the ring – a very happy exhibit.
Special mention to all the lovely veteran entries – such a pleasure to see them in the ring enjoying themselves.  Thank you to their owners – would have loved to award them all.
