Correct slight but perceptible stop, and a pleasing expression enhanced by well placed, obliquely set eyes. Ears set correctly. Neck of adequate length flowing into a reasonably well laid shoulder. Correct proportions apparent beneath the puppy coat. Movement typical of a youngster, showing promise but requiring further maturity to develop coordination and strength. Best Puppy in Breed

1 William’s Mejola Edge of Glory Masculine head of good length with correct proportions, showing a well-balanced wedge. His back skull is flat but could be slightly narrower to fully meet the ideal. Well filled foreface with a strong, well-developed underjaw and chin. Correct slight stop and pleasing expression. Eyes correctly set, contributing to the desired expression. Ears well carried. Neck of good length, leading into well laid shoulders. Forequarters and hindquarters well angulated, giving overall balance. Body firm with correct topline maintained on the move. Coat of good texture and sensibly fitted. Movement true and parallel fore and aft, covering ground efficiently with good drive. 2 Congdon’s Aaronwell All About Elsa Feminine head with pleasing expression, correct stop, and well-set eye. Slightly shorter coupled than the winner. Neck well arched, flowing into a pleasing topline and croup. Movement sound, with adequate reach and drive, although not as positive as the winner on the day.

1st William’s Mejola Endeavour Has that desired ‘impassive dignity’. Correct head properties, showing the desired wedge shape with flat skull, slight but perceptible stop, and well-placed eye. Strong underjaw and good finish of foreface. Neck of good length, flowing into well laid shoulders. Body well-proportioned with good depth and spring of rib. Strong loin and correct topline maintained throughout. Forequarters and hindquarters well angulated, providing balance and symmetry. Good bone and compact, well-shaped feet. Coat dense, of correct texture, and well fitted, enhancing his outline. Movement sound, free and true, with good reach in front and drive behind. Ear carriage could be slightly higher to further enhance expression, though it does not detract from overall quality. Best of Breed
2 Blake’s Corydon Christiana Feminine and compact in outline. Head pleasing with correct eye and ear placement, giving a good expression. Neck of adequate length leading into reasonably well constructed forequarters. Would benefit from more return of upper arm to improve front reach. Movement steady and clean, though lacking the extension of the winner.

Blake’s Corydon The Grandmaster Head of good proportions with the desired wedge shape and pleasing, typical Collie expression. Eyes correctly set obliquely and ears well carried. Would benefit from a stronger underjaw to complete head balance. Neck of good length flowing into well laid shoulders. Balanced angulation front and rear, giving a harmonious outline. Body firm with correct topline. Scored highly on movement. Covered ground with purpose, showing good reach and drive. True coming and going with parallel action. Reserve Best of Breed.
2 Gallagher’s Stregato My Silver Tassie with Gemheid Elegant outline with correct proportions and a well-balanced frame. Head of good length and refinement. However, eye slightly round, detracting from the desired expression. Neck of good length leading into well-constructed body. Coat of correct texture, presented so as to enhance shape. Movement showed good side gait with adequate reach and drive. Clean going away, but less positive on the return.
