I’d like to thank Yorkshire Collie Club for the invitation to judge at this well-run show. I extend my thanks to my stewards and all the exhibitors who had entered under me. Lovely atmosphere in and around the ring. All the exhibits were shown well and had friendly temperament.

1 Brown & Davies’ Blamorder I Dreamed A Dream At Wystry.
A 9-month-old feminine tricolour bitch with excellent friendly temperament. Lovely shape and size standing on good feet. Beautiful head with sweet expression, ears set correctly with one third tipping forward and used well. Lovely dark eye with stop between inner corner of eye. Correct angulations with low set tail carried well. Well-muscled. Colour and coat correct. A bit untidy coming and going but only a puppy, moved soundly in profile. BP/BPIS

1 Richardson’s Lizoni Que Sera Sera.
A 15-month-old feminine tricolour bitch with sweet expression and good proportions. Ears tipping correctly. Good neck, shoulders well laid back, standing on good feet. Ribs well sprung. Excellent hind angulations, well-muscled, just needs time to mature. Good colour and coat. Moved ok.
2 Howard, Howard & Fort’s Shulune Imperial Inkheart With Casatentola.
A 15-month-old strong, masculine blue merle dog. A lot to like about this boy. Beautiful dark eye with correct ears he used to advantage, correctly placed stop, happy expression and temperament, good feet. Well angulated front, well-muscled. Held his topline on the move in profile, hind movement was a tad wide on the day probably as excited. Long tail, set and carried well. RBD

1 Howe’s Lizoni The Drifter.
A tricolour dog of 2 years with friendly temperament, masculine head, flat skull, ears well set, correctly tipped and used to advantage. Loyal expression. Good reach of neck, good topline, nice feet, moderate bone, well bent stifle, sloping croup with a long tail. Would benefit from more substance but hopefully this will come with maturity. Moved well.
2 Wilson-Brain’s Koczkodan Sweet As Honey.
A tricolour dog of 5 years with lovely proportions, masculine dog with cheerful temperament shown in excellent condition. Well set ears that he used well with top third tipping forward below horizontal, good length of neck flowing into level topline, well laid back shoulders, good hind angulations, correct tail set and carriage, coat of excellent colour with lovely tan markings. Moved ok.

1 Wensley & Wensley’s CH Constella Hazy Cosmic Jive JW,
A 3-year-old tricolour dog, lovely size and shape to this friendly dog with kind expression, correctly shaped head with strong underjaw, dark eye, correctly placed ears used well, correct stop to tapering muzzle. Good length to well-muscled neck, Lovely front with well laid back shoulders, flexible pasterns standing on correct feet with toes arched and close together. Ribs well sprung, topline firm, rise over loin, sloping croup with a well-set tail. Moved soundly with purpose, could see him working all day. Pleased to award him BOB and delighted he went on to win Best In Show. BD/BOB/BIS.

A 5-year-old feminine tri bitch with friendly temperament, used her correctly tipped ears well, muscular neck of good length, good fairly broad chest, ribs well sprung, level back with rise over loin, straight legs well under her with flexible pastern, well angulated front and aft with good muscle tone, good coat and colour, correct tail set and carriage, moved well BB/RBOB
