Rough Collies

Puppy (4/2)
1st – Vogans Lenosann The Prophecy, 8 month sable & white dog, classic head, almond eye of correct shape and size, to be critical I would prefer more stop, but his head still has a lot of developing yet to do, flat skull, well set ears and correctly tipped, good length of neck, good shoukders, well sprung ribs, chest a little narrow through, but he has plenty of time for this to develop, presented in good coat and condition, movement was a little erratic at times, but this was his first show and overall I think he coped quite well.  Good luck in the future with him.  BP.  Well done.
2nd – Vogans Lenosann Wildest Dreams, litter sister to winner and similar comment apply, sweet head and expression, presented in good coat and condition, was a little unsettled by her surroundings today and a different handler, but still a nice bitch who you should have some fun with in the future.
3rd – Notley & Barnetts Aaronwell After the Rainbow.

Junior (4/2)
1st – Bartrams Ambartr’s Dignity and Pride, 13 month striking sable and white bitch, with a classic head, flat skull, eyes of correct size and shape lovely length of neck, leading to good shoulders, good depth of chest and length of back, ear of good size and well set, just a little light today, which spoilt her expression, presented in lovely coat and condition, won this class on movement which she done with ease.
2nd – Williams Essanjay Ring of Fire, 14 months sable and white dog who at the moment was a little narrow through, which affected his rear movement as he was a tad close behind.  Classic headpiece of correct proportions, flat skull, good earset, reasonable length of neck and back, he was out of coat today, but what he had was well presented.

Graduate (4/1)
1st – Flowers Serenlas Truly Scrumptious, 20 month sable and white bitch, quality girl, who has the most lovely shape and outline standing, head has correct ratios, flat skull, correct ears, which she used well, long neck leading to well laid shoulders, good length of back and rear angulations, well muscled thighs, this girl thoroughly enjoys life and got a little carried away on the move, but once settled she moved with reach and drive, shame she came in her underclothes today, as she would’ve pushed for top honours.
2nd – Bartrams Ambartr’s Dignity and Pride.
3rd – Williams Essanjay Heartbreaker.

Post Graduate (6/2)
1st – Roses Beldones Clementine avec Coloratura, 3yrs feminine sable and white bitch, correct wedge shaped head, flat skull, ears well used, she showed non stop, neck of good length, well laid shoulders lovely length of back, coat was sadly starting to blow, like many others today, but she was well presented, moved with ease.
2nd – Waltons Sassari Smudge, almost 3 yrs tricolour dog, masculine head and expression, correct eye and earset which he used to his advantage, he is maturing well and settling in to what he has to do, keep persevering with him.  Coat of good colour and was well presented, moved steadily.
3rd – Bartrams Ambartr’s Dignity and Pride.

Limit (2/1)
1st – Vogans Luminous Moon over Lenosann, 3yrs blue merle dog of good colour, masculine head and expression, flat skull, ears of correct size, reasonable neck, good shoulder placement, deep chest, and well sprung ribs, for me this boy still needs to drop into his frame, as at the moment he doesn’t give a balanced picture, he presented in super coat and condition as were all of this owners exhibits.  Moved extremely well.

Open – (8/1)
1st – Mellishs Demelewis Double Take, 4 yrs tricolour bitch, who is balanced throughout, head of correct proportions, which handles well, smooth cheeks, flat skull, correct ears which when used gave an intelligent expression, super length of neck, good chest and well sprung ribs, neat feet.  Coat was starting to blow, but what she had was very well presented, she came into her own on the move, which was effortless, I could watch her move all day.  I was pleased to award her BOB today, one I’m sure should go on to get her title.
2nd – Flowers Androma Dreamcatcher at Serenlas (Imp Svn), 6 yrs shaded sable and white dog, masculine head, which was balanced , flat skull, lovely eyes giving a super expression, ears used to his advantage, long well arched neck, well laid shoulders, deep chest, well sprung ribs, good length of back and super rear angulations leading to well muscled thighs and strong hocks, good length of tail, presented in super coat and condition, moved with reach and drive, another who I’m sure will gain his title, just preferred the overall balance of the class winner today.  RBOB.  Thank you for bringing him.
3rd – Flowers Serenlas Heaven in Blu.
