N. & D. Ch Show 2025

I  would like to thank the Northumberland & Durham Collie Club committee for the trust they placed in me to judge their wonderful show.,
The committee's work at the show was fantastic, including the entire organization. This was my first time judging in the UK, and I am very grateful to the exhibitors for the 89 entries received.
The overall condition and presentation of the dogs judged were excellent, and I am very grateful for the respect the exhibitors showed me in treating them. It was difficult to choose the winners due to the high level of performance. The dog CC was a very complete tricolor, in excellent condition and also won a BOS. The bitch CC stole my heart when I saw her enter the ring and also won a BIS. The RBIS was a very wellrounded sable female with an excellent attitude. The BIS puppy was a dog in magnificent condition that I hope has a great future. And the veteran BIS was a beautiful dog who maintains his condition despite his age.

MINOR PUPPY DOG
PAULARA OCEAN RAINE AT GEOSAMKA: Beautiful puppy with a well proportioned head, well set ears, and a well defined stop. The blue color is currently correct for his young age, but we hope it improves due to the slightly coppery color. Good movement, excellent proportions, good backline, and well angled.

PUPPY DOG
GATAJ STRIKE IT LUCKY: A very well balanced puppy in all its proportions. Good ear set,excellent expression, very good head proportions, excellent backline, excellent movement, a beautiful puppy who presented himself very well and achieved Best Puppy in Show status.

JUNIOR DOG
CORYDON THE BARONET: A very well proportioned head, good expression, good ear set, excellent backline, excellent movement, very good coat condition, and excellent presentation.

GATAJ TIME WILL TELL: Very well proportioned head with a nice expression and well-set ears. The back and movement are a bit weak at the moment. Excellent grooming.

YEARLING DOG
CORYDON THE BARONET: A very well proportioned head, good expression, good ear set, excellent back line, excellent movement, very good coat condition, excellent presentation.

TIGANLEA TURNED TO BLACK: Good ears, well defined stop, somewhat heavy head, excellent back line, slightly nervous in movement, but a good dog overall.

NOVICE DOG
CORYDON THE BARONET: A very well proportioned head, good expression, good ear set, excellent backline, excellent movement, very good coat condition, and excellent presentation.

GRADUATE DOG
DIDEK ECLIPSE OF THE MOON: Correct head, soft eyes, good ear set, good stop, good proportions. As a Blue Merle, he has a lot of black markings, which I don't consider penalizing. In hindsight, his hocks are slightly drawn together, a little bit, not exaggerated, and his coat is in good condition.

POST-GRADUATE DOG
AVONFAIR ALOYSIUS JW: Excellent head, excellent ears, excellent expression with a well rounded muzzle, good proportions. Excellent movement, the tail is fair but reaches the hock, good grooming.

LIBANEL EREBUS ETERNAL: Correct head, slightly sad eyes, slightly swaying movement, excellent coat condition, excellent structure.

LYNMEAD ROYAL LOVER: Exceptional head and expression, very well-set ears, a little restless when standing, excellent backline, excellent movement, and excellent body condition.

CAMANNA CELLMATE: Excellent head with a good expression and excellent ear set, good neck, excellent backline, excellent body condition with good movement, and excellent temperament.

OPEN DOG
CH JOPIUM LOVE ON THE ROCKS: (CC) Good head, with a good masculine expression, excellent ear set, good overall proportions, excellent backline with excellent movement and a great grooming.

CH BELDONES IVORY STAR: (RCC) Very well-proportioned head, excellent expression with a good neck, excellent backline, well angulated, excellent movement, very good overall body condition.

CH OAKLAND BLUE STYLE DU CLOS DE SEAWIND AT ZOLKHAN: This veteran is in excellent condition with a beautiful head, excellent expression with good ear set, good backline, excellent movement, and excellent temperament.

CULBRAE CHARMED AGAIN: Correct female, with a very good stop, good ears, a good neck, good movement, and excellent presentation.
