Smooth Collies

I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of the Lancashire and Cheshire Collie Club for giving me the opportunity to award CC’s in Smooth Collies for the first time, but most of all I thank the exhibitors for entering and giving me such a lovely entry.

Puppy Dog
1. Thomas and Lusty BLAMORDER SIDE HUSTLE WITH MOURNEBRAKE A
nice puppy with a lovely head, dark eye and ear carriage. Good reach of neck that led into good shoulders. His movement was good, and he stood and showed well

Junior Dog
1. Hayward WYNELE DOUBLE TROUBLE AT FOXEARTH Sable & White dog, of good size. Lovely head with a good eye, excellent ear carriage that gives him a pleasing expression. Good reach of neck and excellent body shape. He moved effortlessly around the ring.
2. Thomas and Lusty BLAMORDER SIDE HUSTLE WITH MOURNEBRAKE

Post Graduate Dog
1. Howard, Howard and Fort SHULUNE IMPERIAL INKHEART WITH CASATENTOLA Blue Merle with a well-balanced body. A nice head and good ear carriage that he used well. A nice almond shaped eye and a good reach of neck. His coat is of a nice colour and texture. He moved very well.
2. Leavesley LIZONI LONE RANGER A Tricolour with a pleasing head, good eye and ear carriage. A nice reach of neck leading into good shoulders. Nice body shape and of good size and he moved well.

Limit Dog
1. Wilson-Brain KOCZKODAN SWEET AS HONEY A Tricolour with a nice head, dark eye and ear carriage. He has a nice body shape with a good reach of neck and shoulders. He moved well keeping a level topline and tail carriage.
2. Rodgers BLAMORDER MISCHIEF MAKER WITH JERDON A sable and white with a pleasing head, dark eye and good ear carriage. Nice body shape and moved
well around the ring.
3. Seager BLAMORDER MAGIC MAKER WITH FREEJACK JW

Open Dog
1. Lusty CH BLAMORDER AUDACITY Tricolour that has a nice pleasing head, ears that are correctly placed that he used to his advantage. Good reach of neck leading into good shoulders. He has a level top line which he held when moving. When stood he presented himself well. He moved very well around the ring and was pleased to award him the Res CC
2. French BRECKAMORE ALL GUNS BLAZING A Blue Merle with a well- balanced head and a dark eye. He carries his ears correctly, has a lovely reach of neck leading a nice shaped, and balanced body. He moved soundly around the ring.
3. Wensley CH CONSTELLA HAZY COSMIC JIVE JW

Veteran Dog
1. Smith CH/MULTI CH WINTER IS COMING TO TENTOLA A lovely blue merle dog that oozed quality. He has a lovely head and eye with good ear carriage. Has a lovely reach of neck that leads into a good shoulder placement, nice feet and bone and a level top-line. He is nicely marked, and he moved effortlessly around the ring with a good tail carriage. I was very pleased to award him the Dog CC, Best Veteran and Best of Breed
2. Lusty BLAMORDER BRING HIM HOME Tricolour of nice shape and size. He has a lovely head, eye and ear carriage. He has a nice reach of neck and shoulders. He moved very well on good feet.

Puppy Bitch
1. Benton and Bemelmans BLAMORDER DOUBLE OR QUITS OF OAKSTELLE A beautiful Blue Merle bitch that has a lovely head, eye and ear carriage that uses to her advantage that gives that lovely expression. She has a good length of neck, good
shoulders and nice bone. She moved beautifully around the ring. A worthy Best Puppy in Breed
2. Davies-Brown BLAMORDER I DREAMED A DREAM AT WYSTRY Tricolour with a nice head, eye and ears. She has a nice reach of neck that led into good
shoulders. She moved well.
3. Watkins BLAMORDER UNLUCKY FOR SOME

Junior Bitch
1. Morgan LIZONI QUE SERA SERA TAF A well balanced tri-colour bitch that
showed well. She has a nice head, nice dark eye and good ear carriage. Lovely reach of neck that led into good shoulders. She has a good level top line and good hindquarters. Her movement was good, and she carries her tail correctly.
Post Graduate Bitch
1. Davies-Brown BLAMORDER I DREAMED A DREAM AT WYSTRY
2. Cole and Fort SHULUNE IMPERIAL RUM PUNCH JW A tricolour with a nice head and eye. Lovely ear carriage which she used all the time. She moved well

Limit Bitch
1. Richardson KOCZKODAN SWEET DREAMS OF LIZONI A lovely tri-colour bitch that I have judged previously. She has nice dark eyes that gave her that sweet
expression with good ear carriage. Good reach of neck that led into good shoulders. Her movement was very good with a level topline and excellent tail carriage
2. Rodgers BLAMORDER HIGH BROW TAF A tricolour of good make and shape. She has a lovely head, eye and ears. She has a lovely topline which she keeps on the move although her outline is spoilt by her tail carriage.

Open Bitch
1. French INT/BEL/FR/NL/LUX/GER CH INDIGO AURA AGREE TO
DISAGREE WITH BRECKAMORE (IMP) (ATC AY96293LTU) A well balanced
tri-colour bitch that showed very well. She has a lovely head, nice dark eye and good ear carriage. Excellent reach of neck that led into good shoulders. Has a good level top line and good hindquarters. Her movement is very good and carries her tail correctly. I was delighted to award her the Bitch CC and Reserve Best of Breed
2. Holmes, Holmes and Lusty CH BLAMORDERMAKERS MARK JW A Sable and White with a nice head, eye and ear carriage, giving a very good expression. She has a good reach of neck and pleasing body shape. A nice coat of good colour and condition and she moved out well.

Veteran Bitch
1. Lusty CH BLAMORDER ICE CREAM DREAM VW A blue merle bitch with a good head and eye, well placed ears, good length to neck, and level topline. She moved well keeping her topline and tail correctly.
2. Cowling KOCZKODAN SERENITY A tricolour with a nice head and dark eye, good ear carriage, nice reach of neck and shoulders. She has a level top-line and moved steadily covering the ground well, presented in condition, My day was made more complete when Judge, Mr Steve Barrett not only awarded
CH/MULTI CH WINTER IS COMING TO TENTOLA Best in Show but gave Reserve Best in Show to the Rough Collie RIVERSIDE SONG DESIDERATA AT AARONWELL (IMP ROM) who was awarded her crowning CC by Marina McLaughlin and I had given a first CC to her.
