I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at this well run show.  Many thanks to Alyson for keeping the ring running smoothly.

Veteran Dog or Bitch (5 Entries 2 Absent)
1st Campbell’s Culbrae Imagine – 9½ year old sable dog in excellent coat which was well presented.  Masculine head, dark almond shaped eye.  Straight front, level topline, neat feet.  Moved out well.  Good length of tail carried well on the move.
2ND – Stevens’ Cariadhaf Cookies and Cream For Cambrogan – 9 year old tri bitch with rich tan markings in full bloom.  Neat ears, flat skull, strong underjaw.  Good depth of chest.  Liked  her height to length ratio.  In excellent muscle tone.
3rd – Steven’s Cariadhaf Crazy Dream. Minor Puppy Dog (0 entries) Puppy Dog (0 entries) Junior Dog (3 entries)
1st – McCarte’s Roughrigg Rags’N’Riches – 16 month old sable dog.  Lovely head, flat skull, clean wedge, strong underjaw.  Dark almond shaped and well positioned eye.  Neat ears.  Good length of back.  Deep chest.  Moved out well with plenty reach and drive.  Well presented just needs a bit more time to mature but a lovely youngster.  Reserve Best Dog.
2nd – Marr’s Thistlewing Deep Water – 12 month old sable and white dog.  Liked his shape and size.  Good bone.  Correct eye size and placement.  Well muscled and moved out well.  Excellent presentation.
3rd – Tilley’s Gemheid May’d Of Amber For Detillio.

1st –  Shorten’s Thistlewings Andromeda At Bracoisla – 3 year old mature sable dog in excellent coat and condition.  Head handles well.  Dark almond shaped eye.  Good pigmentation.  Straight front, level topline, good bend of stifle.  Moved out well.
2nd -  Taylor’s Thistlewing Fire Dancer At Bryany – 3 year old sable dog with full white collar.  Straight front.  Well arched neck.  Level topline, neat oval feet.  Well muscled.  Post Graduate Dog (3 entries)
1st – Mitchell and Jordan’s Avonfair’s Aloysius JW – 22 month old sable and white upstanding dog in excellent coat of the correct texture and first class presentation.  Lovely moulded head with neat ears, dark almond shaped eye.  Deep well ribbed chest.  Stands four square.  Moved out well as his construction suggested he would.  Best Dog.
2nd – Tilley’s Ingledene Dark Moon Risin Over Detillio – 3 year old shapely tri dog.  Good bone, straight front. Rich pigmentation.  Level topline.  Moved out well, good tail carriage.
3rd – Taylor’s Thistlewing Fire Dancer At Bryany.

Limit Dog (3 entries)
1st – Crawford’s Stregato Foolish Guy For Delseirios – 3 year old sable dog.  Good size.  Excels in construction and moved very well.  Neat oval feet which were well padded.  Good bend of stifle.  Excellent reach of neck.
2nd – Houlihan’s Kourika Frosted Ice – 6 year old blue merle dog in good coat which was well presented.  Good depth of chest.  Nice reach of neck.  Well balanced.  Moved out well. 
3rd – Taylor’s Thistlewing Fire Dancer At Bryany.

Open Dog (2 entries 1 absent)
1st – Watt’s Culbrae Red Again – 7 year old sable and white dog in good coat.  Neat ears, well rounded muzzle, good underjaw.  Well angled shoulders.  Good length to height ratio.  Neat hocks.  Moved out well as construction suggested. 

Minor Puppy Bitch (0 entries)

Puppy Bitch (2 entries)
1st – Mitchell and Jordan’s Aaronwell Another Dream For Avonfair – 9 month old tri of beautiful breed type.  Excellent head and expression.  Straight front, very feminine.  Good length to height ratio.  Well balanced.  Moved out well.  Should have a very bright future.  Best Puppy Bitch, Reserve Best Bitch, Best Puppy in Show and Reserve Best in Show.
2nd – Clark Kerr’s Salsina Love Me Do – 10 month old sable and white bitch.  Very sweet, neat feet, good bone, presented very well.  Well muscled, moved out well.

Junior Bitch (5 entries 2 absent)
1st – Welsh’s Thistlewing Amber Heart – 12 month old sable and white.  Neat ears, lovely dark almond shaped eye, good under jaw.  Excellent reach of neck.  Deep ribcage.  Neat feet, straight hocks.
2nd – Steven’s Cambrogan’s Blissful Barra – 14 month old tri with good pigment and rich tan markings.  Good underjaw, good bone, level topline, very well muscled.  Moved well both coming and going.
3rd – Shorten’s Beldones Dancing In The Dark At Bracoisla.

Yearling Bitch (2 entries 1 absent)
1st Welsh’s Thistlewing Gold Mist – 19 month old sable and white bitch.  Nice head with neat ears, correct eye shape, colour and placement.  Straight front.  Good shoulder placement.  Liked her bend of stifle, moved well. 

Maiden Bitch (2 entries 1 absent)
1st Clark Kerr’s Salsina Love Me Do – 2nd in puppy. 

Novice Bitch (2 entries)
1st – Mitchell and Jordan’s Aaronwell Another Dream For Avonfair – 1st in puppy.
2nd – Shorten’s Beldones Dancing In The Dark At Bracoisla – 15 month old tri bitch.  Liked her size and shape.  In excellent condition.  Nice head, straight hocks, moved out well.  Showed well for her handler. 

Graduate Bitch (2 entries)
1st – Hutchings’ Riverside Song Thrills Of Night At Scottrye – 3 year old tri.  Shapely outline, full collie markings.  Neat feet, good featherings.  Liked her spring of rib.  Well presented.  Moved out well. 
2nd – Taylor’s Elshajo As If By Magic Of Bryany – 4 year old sable and white bitch.  Neat ears, lovely eye shape, deep chest.  In good condition. 

Post Graduate Bitch (5 Entries 2 Absent)
1ST MacDonald’s Brilyn Look At Me For Faraliya – 2 year old sable and white.  Very shapely, well presented.  Neat feet.  Straight front.  Good underjaw.  Level topline.  Straight hocks.  Unfortunately not in full coat today. 
2nd -  Barr’s Roughrigg Ragnfrid – 2 year old sable and white.  Lovely blunt muzzle, neat ears.  Nice bone.  Liked her length to height ratio.  Moved out well. 
3rd – Taylor’s Elshajo As If By Magic Of Bryany.

Limit Bitch (4 entries)
1st – McCarte’s Roughrigg One Of A Kind – 3 year old sable white.  Beautiful bitch.  Took my eye as soon as she came into the ring.  In full coat of the correct texture which was presented to perfection.  Excellent head, neat ears, correct dark almond shaped eye.  Lovely shape and excellent reach of neck.  Very well constructed and moved very well both front and rear holding her topline.  Best Bitch and Best in Show.
2nd – Hobkirk’s Chantique Sugar Moon – 3 year old sable and white with full collie markings.  Nice ear set.  Stood four squared.  Neat feet and moved out well.  Well presented.  Good bend of stifle. 
3RD – Clark Kerr’s Uffspring Uniquely Mayd For Whitecraigs.

Open Bitch (5 entries 1 absent)
1st – Mitchell and Jordan’s Salsina Secret Love Song At Avonfair – 5 year old sable and white.  Lovely bitch, classic head.  Well constructed.  Straight front.  Nice depth of chest.  Very balanced.  Another that moved well. 
2nd – Melvin and Jopson’s Lillyway Lemon Sparkle At Nithview – 4 year shaded sable and white.  Lovely outline.  Well sprung ribs.  Liked her length to height ratio.  Fit girl who could do a day's work.  Unlucky to meet 1.
3rd – Welsh’s Thistlewing Magic Lady.
