Firstly, I would like to thank All Ireland Collie & Sheepdog Society for asking me to judge their Open Show, I throughly enjoyed my day. All the exhibits were very well groomed and they had excellent temperaments.

Secondly, I would like to apologise for the late critique, as I had misplaced my critique book only then to find it in my loft still in my suitcase.

Intermediate Dog
(1) Delaney's Bonnetstrath Raindance, 21 months old sable & white male he has a lovely expression, moulded foreface, would like him to use his ears a bit more. Nice overall shape with good length of back, good bone, moved well BD RBIS.

1. Data's Afterhero Vol'jin the Warchief blue Merle dog 3 years old who has a dark eye, ears well set, well- blunted clean wedge. Good reach of neck and good length of back moved well. RBD 2. Data's Nibynic Pan Skarpetka the Lucky Strike sable & white dog 4 years old Sable & white male, clean balanced head, dark almond eyes, good length of neck, correct angulations front and rear. Moved ok.

Champion Dog (2,1)
1. Drewery's Ch Evalane Memory of Monty Jun Ch. Sable & white 4 years old almond shaped eye, slight stop, moulded foreface, a bit reluctant to use his ears. Nice overall shape, moved well.

Veteran Dog (3,1)
1. Nealon's Ch Ezzmare King of Hearts. Sable & white dog 8.5 years old who can still move effortlessly around the ring. He has an almond eye giving a sweet expression, semi tipped ears which he used none stop and a well-rounded muzzle with good under jaw. Well arched neck going onto good length of back, plenty of heart room and good bone. 2. Drewery's Ballahanna Bon Jovi, VetCh. Another sable & white dog nearly 9 years old who has a nice eye, good ear set and moulded foreface. Good reach of neck, good bone, nice overall shape and well groomed, Moved very well.

1. Data's Afterhero Avantasia 16 month old Tri bitch who has a nice eye, slight stop with well blunted muzzle, ears bang on top which she used well. She has a good reach of neck and good length of back, she just needs to fill out a little, and settle on the move, moved ok. Intermediate Bitch (1) Nealon's Ezzmare Majestic in Blue. I have seen many pictures of this girl and I was delighted to finally get the chance to go over her. 2-year-old Blue Merle who is a silvery blue and ouses quality, well balanced head with a well-rounded muzzle, eyes obliquely set giving a soft expression, with tipped ears which she used none stop. Good reach of neck, well angulated shoulders and moderate bone. Good length of back with slight rise over the loins and well let down hocks, she moved around the ring effortlessly and I was delighted to award her BIS. Congratulations.

Open Bitch (9,3)
1. Nealon's Ch Ezzmare Westside Pearl JunCh 2.5-year-old sable & white. Attractive wellbalanced girl, pretty, feminine head, well moulded fore face with enough stop. Good reach of neck, good topline which she held on the move, moved well. 2. Timmin’s Bonnettsrath Oops a Daisy 2 year old sable & white who has dark almond eyes, well rounded fore face With enough stop a bit reluctant to use her ears today. Good overall outline with balanced front and rear angulations, she just didn't seem very settled today. 3. Wall's Daliyhaa Destiny's Child.

Champion Bitch (3,2)
1. Nealon's Ch Rowlands Love From Maddie 4 year old blue Merle who is a lovely silvery colour. Again from this kennel she was handled, groomed and presented to perfection, her head handles well, blunt wedge, enough stop and ears bang on top of her head which she used none stop. Well arched neck going onto good length of back. Plenty of heart room, good bone with oval feet. It was a tough decision between her and her kennel mate RBB.

Veteran Bitch (4,3) Kelleher's Verva Actis Poland JC, 9 year old sable & white who moved well for her age, but I would like to have a bit more weight on her. She has a nice overall shape, head is well blunted wedge, almond eye giving a sweet expression.
