NORTHUMBERLAND & DURHAM COLLIE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW
25th August 2024 (Rescheduled 8th September 2024)
Thank you to the Northumberland & Durham Collie Club for my invite to judge and my thanks to my stewards and to Jo Williams for all her help in the later part of the show it was much appreciated. Well done on your reorganisation and relocating the show. Grateful thanks to all exhibitors for your entries and to those who stayed to the bitter end as it was getting rather late. Sorry some of the bitch critiques were brief as time was not on our side and I didn’t want to compromise on the handling of the dogs.
I enjoyed judging your dogs but still have to mention, please read the breed standard for heads. Balanced heads with flat skulls were missing from a number today, with too many lacking in back skull but I was really pleased with my winners.
