Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge Rough and Smooth Collies, and to my stewards who kept me on track. My grateful thanks to the exhibitors.

Puppy (1)

1. Mills HANVALE EDINA MONSOON . Very pretty 8 month old S/W bitch. Still very much a baby but developing a most attractive head and the sweet expression the standard asks for. Would like her ears a little tighter.. Angulation front and rear are good. Nicely muscled. Moved out with confidence both in challenge and in the group. Sympathetically handled. BP & PPG3 Well done.

  1. Edwards SALSINA SHARING SECRETS Most attractive S/W 5 year old bitch. In lovely condition. Good parallel head planes. Almond shaped dark eyes and the sweetest expression if only we saw it more. She is a lovely shape, height:length ratio, Movement was a little sluggish but at final ask she got her act together to win this class and BOB.

  2. Mellish's DEMELEWIS DOUBLE TAKE. Well balanced 3 year old Tricolour bitch. Overall construction is good with lovely arched neck, fitted coat, correct length of back, Good front reach but I found her a little close behind at times on the short run available, Head is balanced but I preferred the expression of 1. I would like to see her moving outside.

  1. Leavesley LIZONI LONE RANGER 14 month Tricolour dog. Good parallel head planes and well used ears. Stands with good outline , well proportioned with depth of chest and nice length of back. Good bend of stifle. Movement was a little erratic.

1. Jerrets COLDELEE ETERNAL SUNSHINE. Most attractive s/w bitch of 22 months. Gorgeous expression from dark almond eyes, well used and placed ears. Lovely angulation front and rear. Good length of back , well defined topline, maintained on the move (when she kept her feet on the ground!) Have noticwd this bitch from puppyhood and she doesnt disappoint, would just like a bit more of her. BOB and shortlisted in a big group. Well done.
