Special Beginners Dog (2, 0)
1. Acford’s Coneypark Mattie Brown Sable of pleasing overall shape, well placed ears, full in eye but correct dark colour. Moved well.
2. Leavesley’s Lizoni Lone Ranger. Plain tri dog who needs to settle, overall construction could be better. Has decent reach of neck and nice eye.

Minor Puppy Dog (1,0)
1. Howard’s Shulune Imperial Inkheart with Casetentola. Raw 6 month old Blue Merle of good colour although he carries too much white. Heavy in head at this stage. Nice, well placed eye with good ear carriage. Good reach of neck. Moved OK

Puppy Dog (2,0)
1. Martin’s Sturtmoor Arceus’s Legacy. 10 Month Old Sable who presents a very pleasing picture. Not finished in head as yet and I would prefer a little more underjaw. He has a well placed, dark, eye. Correctly set ears, which he used well, nicely rounded foreface with stop a little low but leading to the flattest of backskull with no flaring through his cheeks. Fabulous, correctly set length of neck leading into well placed shoulder. Well developed forechest . Good angulations fore and aft with firm topline, correct length of length to height ratio and good tail set. Moved out well and never put a foot wrong, quite the showman, pleased to award him the CC.

Decent length of neck leading onto well placed shoulders. Firm level topline with good ribbing. Good tailset carried low. Moved out well. RCC.

2. Sewell’s Wynele Strike it Rich to Lewarne
Another of smaller type , litter brother to 1. Beautifully headed dog with the desired eye and expression, although with slight flaring. Correct amount of bone. Good ear placement. Not the neck of 1. Good angulations with depth of chest but poor topline possibly due to being overweight. Carries tail to one side on the move. Beautifully presented.

Open Bitch (2,0)

1 Howard’s Brackenhaye Heartbreaker At Shandlmain. Quite why this bitch still hasn’t been made up is bewildering. I have given her a RCC before and consider her shape/ outline to be the blue print of which breeders should be aiming to breed. 4 year old Tri of fabulous construction. Beautiful jet black coat. She is so well balanced throughout with correct length to height ratio. Pleasing head with correct planes, excellent dark eye giving the correct expression, well placed ears. Fabulous reach of neck leading to well angulated shoulder, firm, level topline carried on the move, good ribbing, nice rise over the loin with good turn of stifle. Long tail carried low when on the move and she moved out well. Delighted to award her her second CC & Best of Breed, surely her third can’t be too far away.
2 Ms Van De Ven’s Indigo Aura Agree to Disagree. Tri of nice shape with good length of back. Lacks underjaw, ears could be tighter. Well handled.
