Rough Collies

I had a really good entry of RC’s, 18 entered in total. The overall quality was disappointing, lots of short tails, several heads with no stop whatsoever, many squinty eyes, lack of muscle tone (they were originally a working breed, so movement should be important) & a few with knotted undercoats. I was very pleased with my placings.

PUPPY (2 entries, 1 abs)
1st MISS A.M. Mills. HANVALE EDINA MONSOON B 9 mths. Sable. Beautiful head shape with correct up & tipped ears, good eye shape, good dentition, slightly loose in front, good bone onto oval feet. Profuse coat in good condition. Correct angulation front and rear. Moved steadily around the ring. BPIB & PG 3

1st Mrs G Whitaker. SILUTO BLUEBERRY MIST B 16 mths. Blue Merle. Good head shape with correct almond shaped eye, lovely up & tipped ears used to their advantage, good reach of neck onto well placed shoulders. Well angulated front and rear. Sloping croup onto good tail placement. Not too happy on the mats but once settled moved steadily around. 2nd Miss A.M. Mills. HANVALE EDINA MONSOON. See previous class. 3rd Mrs H.M. Rodwell. In beautiful condition, good reach of neck onto sloping shoulders, good bone onto tight oval feet. Ribs of correct length onto good length of loin, sloping croup and well placed tail.
