COLLIE CLUB - RESULTS

It was an honour to referee for this old established Collie club and brought back so many memories of Tom Purvis and Auntie Mary Tweddle, stalwarts of this club. Held in conjunction with Darlington Ch show the club had been given a lovely in/out ring, lovely weather prevailed and made for an almost garden party atmosphere. I was called to referee Best in Show between the dog Corisian Parisian Magic and the bitch Corydon Clarissa, both sable and white, I awarded the bitch Best in Show as I considered her a very classy Collie. The dog had some quality about him but his character and movement held him back. The judges agreed Reserve Best in Show should go to the bitch, Phreelancer Formal Dress. I was called again to adjudicate for Best Puppy between Camanna Cellmate, a sable and white and a blue merle bitch, Skabona If I Saw You In Heaven for Chelbonn, two very different babies, my choice was the bitch.
