Firstly, I would like to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge for them today, it was a lovely way to finish 2023.
There is a lot of promising youngsters in this breed, some of which were present today and I look forward to watching their progress in the future.

Puppy (3/1)
1st – Metcalfs Koczkodan Well I Never, 6 month Tricolour male, still very raw, but he has a lot of promise, good head and eye, with level planes, still needs to develop in underjaw, fair length of neck leading to well angled shoulders, well sprung ribs, once settled he moved as you would expect at this age, still needs to develop in his rear action as a little loose at the moment, but this will come as he matures.
2nd – Evans Sturtmoor Amaura’s Bliss, 6 month Sable and White bitch, another that has a lot of promise, but like 1 is very raw at the moment, sweet eye and expression, flat skull, head of correct proportions, ears are a little light at the moment, nice length of neck, and depth of chest, just needs to develop in body, moved steadily.

Junior (3/0)
1st – Seagars Blamorder Magic Maker with Freejack JW, 14 months Sable and White male, sweet yet mascueline expression, lovely eye and ear placement, flat skull, strong neck, leading to well laid shoulders, deep chest and well sprung ribs, good length of back, just going through the gangly teenage stage at the moment, and needs to drop into himself, once he does he will have a very bright future, moved very well, pleased to award him RBOB today, and wish you the best of luck for the future.
2nd – Martins Sturtmoor Arceus’s Legacy, 6 month Sable and White male, litter brother to 2nd in Puppy.  This boy has such a lot of promise, he is so confident and well schooled for one so young, stood well, gave a lot away in age to the winner, but very similar in type, lovely head and eye, good length of neck, well set and used ears, very focused on his handler, still needs to develop in chest and ribs, but if he continues to develop the way he is, he too will have a bright future which I will watch with interest, pleased to award him BP today, one of many I’m sure.

1st – Seagars Blamorder Magic Maker with Freejack JW (see Junior).

Open (6/3)
1st – Cowlings Koczkadan Serenity, 7 years Tricolour bitch, firstly I would like to say how has this bitch not got CH in front of her name, she oozes quality, I loved everything about her, sweet eye and expression, flat skull, correct earset which were well used, she showed non stop, very attentive to her handler, well laid shoulders, good spring of rib and depth of chest, shown in lovely condition, moved extremely well.  I was pleased to award her a well deserved BOB today, I was delighted to see her win a strong Pastoral Veteran class, well done.
2nd – Wensleys Constella Hazy Cosmic Jive JW, 2 year Tricolour male, a lot to like about this boy, lovely head and expression, sweet eye, flat skull, ears well set which he used to his advantage, correct head planes, with no trace of coarseness, good length of neck, deep chest and well sprung ribs, strong  bone and well muscled.  Moved very positively, lost out to the bitch as he didn’t seem as focussed today, and wasn’t happy with his surroundings.  Good luck,  because you will have a lot of fun with him.
