Secretary, Margaret Scamp, let me know that the WECS held their Open Show, but in rather blustery conditions, last Easter Sunday and she writes: Today's show went well and despite a few showers and a very stiff breeze the judges , competitors and dogs braved the conditions and despite this all went well. There were a few absentees unfortunately but not unexpected because of it being Easter Sunday. Everyone made the best of the day and we believe all had another enjoyable show. The Committee would like to thank all who attended for their continued support of the club, we very much appreciate it.
The judge was Lynda Nicholas, (Nickarlyn) who had received an entry of 12 males and 26 females from 21 exhibitors. The smooths were judged by Sarah Flower SAC classes originally had  Katya Robinson (Lavika) but at the last moment was replaced by Mrs Natalia Davey (Klassna) from Basingstoke and with Celia Vines doing BIS.
From the original 12 males, 2 were absent and the following were class winners: Veteran- Aaronwell AyeBeeCee at Marketdene (Margaret Scamp); MP - Artiste Nocturne du Domain  des Emeruades at Gataj (Melissa Lockyer); Puppy Gataj Just Like Jesse James (Melissa); Junior – Gataj I Got You Babe (Melissa); Special Yearling – Samshernik Majestic Boy for Paul Ross. Limit - Ladnar Makeithappen at Nikal (Shelley Skinner) with no Open entries, the BD went to Paul Ross and Samshernik Majestic Boy with Melissa and Jesse James RBD and BPD.
In bitches, Veteran went to Shelley Skinner and her tricolour, Samhaven Time Is Money VW – who was born in May 2014. MP was Serenlas She’s On Trend for Stefani Flower; Puppy to Tremaro Fantasy handled by Robert Shipp but in the ownership of Robert and Margaret; Junior was a nice win for Di Ware and her sable Millubie Parachute  into Wassail, followed by another class win for Di with her blue, Millubie Enchanged at Wassail. Post Grad went to Tremaro Million Dollar Baby for Rob & Margaret;  Di Ware quickly changed leads to her sable, Wassail Call The Midwife to win Limit; Open went to Paul Ross and Most Majestic Timeless Touch for Samshernik. BB was awarded to Tremaro Million Dolly Baby owned by Rob & Margaret  with RBB going to Di Ware and Wassail Call The Midwife and Tremaro Fantasy taking BPB. BOB went to Million Dollar Baby and a message from Margaret let me know of their lovely day, at what appears to be one of their “lucky shows” as they also annexed BPB with their other entrant.
BIS was judged by Celia and this went to Million Dollar Baby, with BPIS to Gataj Just Like Jesse James, RBIS to the smooth Ch Brackenhaye Heart and Soul. Although Shelley took BVIB, she lost out to the Smooth, Ch Blamorder Do Quite Nicely for BVIS.
The following is a list of the SAC Class winners: Gataj Honeysuckle; Gataj Just Like Jesse James and Most Majestic Timeless Touch for Samshernik from an overall entry of 17 with a few missing.
News has also arrived from Stefani Flower, who attended the Carmarthen Canine Society Open the previous day with Serenlas She’s On Trend and took BPIB from Breed judge Mel Carter and PPG3 from Susan Jones and also won her MP class at WECS the following day.
