21st November 2025

With no major shows for our breed this weekend and no news of any wins, there is very little to report upon.
With just 2 Championship shows to complete our year, the listing for TOP of each section is getting quite interesting. So ,I will be trying to sort all of these for you for the Review of 2025 shortly
Although this paper (Our Dogs) also has lists and awards for many, the calculations for our breed  completed by me are slightly different: Allow me to try and explain.  Calculations for Top Breeder are based not only on the number of CC’s a kennel has produced and also included in this are RCC wins should the numbers be fairly equal, and, of course the number of NEW champions are also included, and the same calculations are used for Brood Bitch, Top Sire and overall winners. Also considered are those who gained Group places in Adult Groups only.
Top Puppy calculations are left to the decisions of the British Collie Club as this club also holds the Ladypark Puppy Trophy, all wins for this and the criteria for entrants can be obtained direct from BCC and I have no input into the final winners.
Finally, I do hope that ALL aspiring judges have taken time out to register and ensure their details and Levels achieved are listed on the KC FAJ/JEP Portal. Please remember as of 31st December, the old Club B lists (and lower) are no longer applicable.
If you are in doubt, please check out your eligibility to accept future appointments or see below, as it is now down to YOU.

From 1st January 2026
To be eligible to judge at all you MUST be registered and showing on the RKC ‘Find a Judge’ site at a minimum of JEP Level 1. If you are not registered there, you cannot judge.
This also applies that you MUST be at Level 1 to currently accept ANY judging appointment.
THIS IS NOT A CLUB OR INVITING SECRETARY ISSUE, THE RESPONSIBILTY IS YOURS.
