BELGIUM ‘The Collie Association’ Breed club Ch.Show 24/06/2023 Full results and photo gallery on www.collieassociation.be Saturday the 24th of June 2023 saw the 25th anniversary ch.show of the Belgian breed club for the Smooth and Rough Collie ‘The Collie Association’ at the venue of Lihos in Genk. The great entry of 99 dogs from 8 different countries saw Christine Collins judging the 25 Smooths and Marina McLaughlin the 74 Roughs.

SMOOTHS

In Smooths the 19 months old sable bitch from intermediate class won the double CAC to become also BOB and RBIS. Curtney Love from Black Riding Hood (Alph from Black Riding Hood x Bloody Mary from the Sun of China) was bred by Claudia Bohne (D) and is owned by Linda van der Kieft (NL). The RCAC in bitches went to the 3,5 years old blue merle from open class Rita Mitsouko du Domaine de Docmaël (Straightlines Starlight Dream x Osiris du Domaine de Docmaël). Bred by Marylène Mulot (F) and owned by Arnaud Vanbeselaere (F). The double CAC in males and BOS went to the 18 months old from intermadiate class Int.NL.D.Yth.Ch.Legend of Camelots Zupersonic (Legend of Camelots Vanilla King x Legend of Camelots Night in Paris). Bred by Heike Ischner (D) and owned by Erna Sanders (NL). The RCAC went to the 5 years old tricolour from champion class being Fr.Ch.Oliver Twist de la Fleur dEcosse (Gettro Gibbs du Clos des Duchesses x Lara Croft du Clos des Duchesses), bred by Evelyne and Sarah Descamps (F), owned by Arnaud Vanbeselaere (F). Best Youth and BIS Youth was the 14 months old sable bitch Mabinogion Egwene (Tucconias Gandalf Kind of Magic x Mabinogian het Vijfde Element). Bred by J.P. Berkelmans and v/d Rest (NL) and owned by Erna Sanders (NL). Best Minor Puppy was the 4,5 months old sable bitch Turellas Ginger (Blue Sapphire v.Shakas Royal Kraal x Turellas Zimtstern). Bred by Claudia Scmidt (D), owned by J.J. Smeijers (NL) Best Veteran and BVIS was the 9 years old sable bitch NL.BE.JCh.NLCh.BE.VCh.Neera van Renvickshof (Will Witfoot from Hobbits Home x Vicky vom Ihlpol), bred and owned by Michel and Sabine Goetstouwers (B).

In Roughs the 20 months old sable bitch from intermediate class won the double CAC to become also BOB and BIS: Rydeen Question ‘N Answer (Ch.Toffilus Out of Ordinary x Rydeen Make My Day), bred and owned by Hans-Jürgen Glöckner (D). The RCAC in bitches went to the 3 years old sable from the champion class , BE.NL.Lux.Int.Ch.True Dream Angel Silvestre (Pow Wow du Clos de Sea-Wind x Riverside Dream Angel Silvestre), bred and owned by Inna van de Ven (B). The double CAC in males and BOS went to the 3 years old tricolour Timo Angel Silvestre (Pow Wow du Clos de Sea-Wind x Riverside Dream Angel Silvestre), litter brother to the RCAC in bitches, bred by Inna van de Ven (B) and owned by Nadine Bruynseraede (B).
