I would like to thank the Secretary and his Committee for inviting me to judge at this friendly show and for the beautifully situated accommodation, also to my ring steward for keeping the ring running smoothly.

Minor puppy dog.    1 entry

1st, Mrs A Kelly’s. EVALANE MEMORY OF MONTY (TAF)

7 month old sable & white. Good size for age. Balanced head of good length, with well placed stop with good ear set. good neck emphasised by big white collar. Nice length of back and good length of tail. Showed and moved well

1st, Mrs MA Lockyer’s GATAJ OUT OF THE WOODS.

Golden sable & white of 10 months. The best mover in this class both fore and aft. Good conformation with correctly fitting coat. Good bone, well laid shoulders, good depth of rib and turn of stifle with good tail. Balanced head with good ears and well placed eye.  BPIB. Pleased to see he went PPG4

2nd Mr & Mrs CJ Tipper’s TIGANLEY TWIST AND TURN.

10 month Shaded sable & white beautifully presented. What a show boy, ears bang on top well placed dark almond eyes, clean wedge head with no signs of coarseness all giving a sweet expression. Moved a little loose fore and aft today.

3rd Mr D & Mrs M Timmins, BELDONES HUNKY DORY

1st, Mr PT & Mrs P Savage, PEBLU GOLD REFLECTION AT SAVATAURUS, JUN CH.

4 year old sable and & white of good size. Nice eye with clean balanced head and good underjaw giving sweet expression. Good neck and length of back moved well.

2nd, Mrs D Iley’s, HUGO BOSS IN BLACK DELLA VERDE SCOZIA (imp ita) 

2 1/2 year old blackest of black tricolour dog. Not at all happy in this noisy hall. Good muzzle dark eye and good length of neck, not in good coat at present. Unsettled on the move.

1st, Mr J Congdon’s, STARLENGA ALL THAT JAZZ FROM AARONWELL 

2 year old tricolour. His black coat gleamed under the light, with good rich tan markings and in good coat which was well presented. He has a clean wedge head well places stop and dark almond eyes. His ears are well placed when he chose to use them. Neck of good length with well laid shoulders, deep chest level top line, strong hind quarters well let down hocks, moved well.

2nd , Miss McCann’s,  OAKLAND BLUE. STYLE DU CLOS DE SEAWIND (Imp Fr)

Lovely headed Blue Merle of good colour. Beautifully presented with a correctly fitting coat,shorter throughout than 1st but all in balance. Showed and handled well. Showing his lovely expression, with a clean wedge head well rounded muzzle 2 dark almond eyes, ears on top.

3rd, Mr L Kelly’s, BALLAHANNA ALL BETS OFF.

1st Miss A Graingers, SAMHAVEN BALLAHANNA BANJO

3 year old Golden sable/white. This was the outline of a male I was looking for. Everything in balance with no coarseness and beautifully presented. Good shoulders and length of neck deep chest and spring of rib, strong hind quarters and well let down hock. He has the cleanest of heads with well placed stop neat ears good under jaw and lip line. His eyes are almond in shape and obliquely set as asked for in the breed standard. All giving that true collie expression. Moved well fore and aft. Dog CC & BOB 

2nd Mr J Congdon’s Ch/ Fr Ch, JUGBAND BLUES DU CLOS DE SEAWIND VIA AARONWELL (Imp Fra) TAF

7 year old blue dog with huge coat of good colour. Well filled nicely balanced head with sweet expression. Good length of neck hidden by his coat with good front and bone deep chest well let down hock, stood 4 square. Moved well.

1st, Reverend V E Burrows,COLOUR MY WORLD VON DER ISCHLERBAHN AT REVDVICKI ARAF (Imp Aus)

Very feminine tricolour baby at her first show and took it all in her stride. Well balanced head of good length. Ears a little wide today but has time. Nice shape with good neck move well.

1st, Jones & Blackburn’s, ERJON EBONY JEWELS.

11 month old tricolour of jet black colour who was out of coat today but has nothing to hide. Good body with level top line with straight front legs good turn of stifle and long tail past her well let down hocks. Movement improved each time she entered the ring when she stopped trying to lean in and cut the corners. Look forward to seeing her back in coat.

2nd, Lockyer’s, GATAJ GOOD TIME GIRL.

10 month old sable & white in good coat that was well presented. Was very unfortunate that as I was going over her 2 unattended dogs in crates decided to have a go at each other aggressively. This distracted and upset her making it hard to asses her fairly.

1st, Congdon’s, STARLENGA ALL MY LOVE TO AARONWELL TAF.

2 year old tricolour in good coat. Lovely head shape with dark eyes and sweet expression. Flat skull good stop, just used her ears enough to show correct set. Moved well with drive.

2nd,  Lockyer’s GATAJ HONEY BEE

18 month old, Pretty sable bitch, good eye and expression. Good bone with straight front and good bone and neat feet. Level top line strong quarters and bend of stifle. Moved soundly.

3rd,  Iley’s, CALL ME DREAMER IN BLUE FOR ILEYDA DELLA VERDE SCOZIA JW (Imp Ita)

1st, Tipper’s, TIGANLEA TOO GOOD TO BE TURE.

4 year old, shaded Sable and white in full bloom with frills and feathering only a bitch can have. Caught my eye as she entered the ring. Well angulated shoulders with good upper arm, good length of back and good turn of stifle. Showed the pads of her feet as she drove away. Showed well, using her ears to show her sweet expression. CC

2nd, Mr L Kelly’s, SAMHAVEN SISTER SARA.

2 1/2 year old golden sable with excellent head pattern, clean wedge of good length correctly placed stop and obliquely set almond eye. Just not the drive of one.

3rd Jones & Blackburn, ERJON EVOLVING STAR.

1st, Hodges, JOPIUM LOVE HEART JW ShCM.

6 year old sable and white presented to perfection. Clean head, flat skull and nice eye all giving a good expression. Good bone neat feet with nice length of back with slight rise over the loins. Well let down hocks and long tail. Moved well. Res CC

2nd, Tippers, Hun & Int CH,TIGANLEA MAKE GOOD TIME.

4 year old. Good sized but feminine sable in full bloom. Another good mover from this kennel. Good head and expression nicely balanced body with good bone. Showed well.
