Rough Collies MPD (1) 1st: LOCKYER Perfect Timing Du Clos De Sea-wind For Gataj, 7 months sable dog of good quality, lovely smooth headpiece with flat skull and strong underjaw, correct scissor bite, dark almond eye, slightly wide set ear placement, but used ears well, well arched neck into well laid shoulders, a shade steep in upper arm not affording him the desired reach in front. Good proportions height to length, good depth and correct overline into well moulded croup and strong hindquarters for a youngster. He was sound both ways with a steady side gait. In good coat & condition.

PD (1) 1st: GEDDES Ingledene Mercury Risin, a quality medium sized blue male of good breed type, lovely headpiece, with smooth lines and planes, flat skull, dark almond eye with ears well placed. Correct Scissor bite, with good strong underjaw. although not in full Bloom he presented a well-balanced outline with good angles and proportions, correct strong top line into a well moulded croup and low tail set, strong hindquarters. he was sound both ways with a steady, effortless side gait. would love the opportunity to judge dog again when he's in full coat.

JD (1) 1st: LOCKYER Once Upon A Time Du Clos De Sea-wind With Gataj, 18 months shaded sable, excellent temperament good mouth, a shade deeper in stop, would prefer a larger eye, good head planes, wide set ears, a shade stuffy in neck, well laid shoulders, steep in upper arm, stood on medium bone and good feet, well coupled with good depth of brisket, lovely over line into well moulded croup and tail set, moderate angles and proportions. he was sound both ways with a steady side gait showing fair reach and good drive, shown good coat and condition.

YD (2)1a 1st: FULLER Hanvale Arthur Shelby with Damos, 18 months sable mail another of good quality. a lovely headpiece with good scissor bite from a strong under jaw, lovely Dark eye, albeit a shade small for me, ears well placed and carried well, lovely expression. good reach of neck into well laid shoulders good angles and proportions fore and aft good depth of brisket with well sprung ribs. strong loin, lovely backline into well moulded croup and low set tail. he was sound both ways with a lovely side gait when he settled he was shown in good coat and condition.

GD (3) 1st: CONGDON Fridens Stay Cool With Aaronwell (Imp Rus), 2 years shaded sable lovely headpiece with good smooth lines, nice dark well set almond eye, well set ears giving a beautiful expression, good mouth, strong neck into well laid shoulders, he was well balanced throughout with good angles and proportions, stood on good bone, correct depth of brisket and well sprung ribbing, strong smooth top line into well moulded croup and slightly high tail set. good proportions height to length. Sound in all directions on the move with an excellent side gate showing effortless reach and drive. 2nd: SHIPP No More Heroes Du Clos De Sea-wind JW (Imp) Fra, medium sized male similar in type to winner, but narrower through, lovely well-balanced headpiece with wider set ears, he was well balanced throughout with good angles and proportions, he was sound both ways with a steady side gait. shown in good coat and condition. 3rd: MARQUES Deanjan Dynamite Boy, another similar in type to the winner, with a lovely headpiece and good overall body shape, a shade flat in foot, he was moderately angled which didn't afford him the reach and drive of the winners. in super coat and well handled.

LD (7)1a 1st: BENTON & SMITH Brooklynson El Dorado, 2 years medium to top sized dark sable male of good quality, excellent temperament, good mouth, lovely headpiece with smooth lines, ears placed a shade wide, long wedge shape head and well set almond eye completing the picture. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, he was well balanced throughout with lovely angles & proportions, good depth of brisket with well sprung ribs, strong back into well moulded croup and slightly higher tail set. Lovely strong hindquarters. He was sound both ways with an excellent side gait moving effortlessly with good reach & drive. Not in full coat but in great condition. Res CC 2nd: GEDDES Ingledene Well Sooted, 2 ¾ yrs med sized tri coloured male of good quality and breed type, similar to winner in head, beautiful dark eye, not as wide through for me, he had excellent angles & proportions and was well balanced throughout, would prefer him a little more upright in pastern. Good depth of brisket and well sprung ribbing, excellent topline into well moulded croup, strong hindquarters. On the move he was sound both ways with a super side gait. Shown in good coat & condition. 3rd: HUMPHREY Shasam Sign Of The Times JW, 2 ¾ sable male similar in type to winners with a lovely headpiece, just would prefer tighter feet and more upright in hocks. That said, I found him to have a pleasing overall body shape and steady side gait.

OD (4)1a 1st: GRAINGER Samhaven Sound Track, 3 yrs dark sable male of med/top size, of excellent breed type and quality, excellent temperament, scissor bite, super smooth head with balanced proportions, beautiful dark almond eye giving a lovely expression, well set ears. Well arched neck of correct length into well laid shoulders, he was well balanced throughout with excellent angles & proportions, stood on ample bone and nice tight feet, good depth of brisket and well developed forechest, good spring of rib, strong back into well moulded croup & set on of tail giving that lovely flowing overline. He was strong in hindquarters affording him soundness on the move and effortless reach & drive. In good coat & firm muscle condition, well handled, he stood out in this class and ultimately my CC & BOB 2nd: CONGDON Ch Jugband Blues Du Clos De Sea-wind Via Aaronwell, 5 yrs blue male, lovely headpiece albeit a shade deeper in stop, dark eye, good mouth, Shorter in neck than winner into well laid shoulders, steeper in u/a, good depth of brisket, strong back into slightly flat croup, good angles & proportions in the hindquarters. He was sound both ways with a lovely side gait. 3rd: RAE Antoc Soul Mate, 5 yrs sable male, similar to winner but steep in u/a and finer through, he was sound both ways with a steady side gait showing good drive.

VD (2) 1st: SMEDLEY Ch Atendus Erasure, 7 ½ yrs shaded sable of good breed type, lovely headpiece, a shade narrow in underjaw, and would prefer a wider eye, ears set on well, but not using them well in the blustery conditions. Slightly stuffy in neck, well laid shoulders, a shade steep in upper arm not affording him the desired reach on the move, stood on good bone and tight feet, good depth of brisket, level back into well moulded croup and lovely well proportioned hindquarters. He was sound both ways with a steady side gait, shown in full coat. 2nd: HENDRICK Mertrisa Emrys Destiny At Anpasch, 8 yrs blue of medium size, similar to winner with a lovely headpiece, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, steep in upper arm, stood on good bone, pleasing overall body shape but not happy in these conditions. He was sound both ways with a steady side gait.

SBD/B (1) 1st: LYALL Santaloly's Sky Amidalas, 3 ½ yrs sable female, slightly longer cast, lovely headpiece with good mouth and strong underjaw, lovely dark almond eye, ears wider set, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, steep in upper arm, good bone and long feet, good depth of brisket, strong back into well moulded croup and good hindquarters with excellent angles & proportions. She was sound both ways with a steady side gait.

MPB (2) 1st: MARGETTS Lynmead Lemonade for Collingvale, 8 months very promising young female of good quality & breed type, lovely smooth well balanced headpiece with good mouth, dark eye giving a super expression, ears set on well to complete the picture, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, she was well balanced throughout with good angles & proportions, good depth, lovely overline into well moulded croup and low set tail, strong hindquarters for a youngster. She was sound both ways with an excellent side gait showing good reach & drive In good coat & condition BPIB 2nd: HODGES Jopium Cool As Magic, 8 months tri of good type, excellent headpiece with nice dark eye, and lovely well set on ear, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, steep in upper arm, lovely mid section and pleasing overline into strong hindquarters. She was sound both ways with a steady side gait showing fair reach & drive. In good coat & condition.

PB (2) 1st: MARGETTS Lynmead Lemonade for Collingvale (as Previous class) 2nd: NEWTON & PATTERSON Beldones Halle Berry With Darahill, 10 months similar in type to winner with a lovely headpiece, steeper in upper arm not affording her the reach of winner. Lovely hindquarters, she was sound both ways and in good coat. JB (7) 1st: LEGGE Kalzan Love You Inside Out, 13 months sable of good quality & lovely breed type, beautiful headpiece with good width of jaw, good bite, dark almond eye and well set ears, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, she was well balanced throughout with good angles & proportions, a shade longer in foot, lovely body shape, super overline into well moulded croup and tailset. She was sound both ways with a lovely easy side gait. Shown in good coat & condition. 2nd: TAME Oh Suzannah Du Clos De Seawind At Rahlissa (Imp) Fra, 14 months sable, very similar to winner just a shade steeper in upper arm, and lighter in eye for me. Moved well away & back just lacked the forward reach of my winner. 3rd: LEGGE Kalzan Loves Young Dream, 13 months sable, again very similar to 1&2, just flatter on feet and a shade loose in right front elbow, that said she thoroughly deserved her placing.

YB (3) 1st: BEADEN & ARROWSMITH Saganan Blue Diamond, 20 months quality blue female with lovely headpiece, dark eye, a shade narrow in underjaw, ears well placed, good reach of well arched neck into well laid shoulders, superbly balanced throughout with good angles & proportions, good depth, well sprung rib, level strong back into well moulded croup. Strong hindquarters, she was sound both ways with a easy, effortless side gait. Not in full coat but in excellent condition. 2nd: TAME Oh Suzannah Du Clos De Seawind At Rahlissa (Imp) Fra, (as previous) 3rd: MILLIGAN &MARLEY Ladnar Trust In Me For Alfsden, 19 months, blue similar to winner, lovely headpiece, just steep in upper arm not affording her the desired forward reach on the move, good overall body shape, she was sound both ways with a steady side gait, not in full bloom today.

GB (6) 1st: WALDER Hanvale Polly Shelby, 19 months, very promising sable of good quality and excellent breed type, a lot to like about this bitch, excellent temp , scissor bite, super headpiece with well placed dark almond eye, not using her ears well today, nevertheless a beautiful expression. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders she was well balanced throughout with good angles & proportions and lovely overall body shape. Good depth of brisket, well sprung rib, strong straight back with strong loins into well moulded croup and tailset, strong hindquarters. She was sound both ways with an excellent side gait showing good reach & drive, worth another look in the challenge, in lovely condition and well handled. Definitely one to watch. 2nd: LOCKYER Nasty Girl Du Clos De Sea Wind At Gataj (Imp) Fra, 2 yrs sable, similar to winner albeit slightly shorter, a shade steep in upper arm, well laid shoulders, lovely headpiece, lovely overline into strong well proportioned hindquarters, she was sound both ways with a steady side gait, not the forward reach of winner. 3rd: LYALL Santaloly’s Sky Amidalas (as previous)

PGB (5)2a 1st: JONES & BLACKBURN Erjon Exclusively Special, 3 yrs blue female of good breed type, lovely temp , good mouth, super headpiece with beautiful expression, wide set ears, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, she was well balanced throughout with good angles & proportions, good bone but feet could be tighter, good depth and ribbing, strong back into well moulded croup and strong hindquarters. She was sound both ways with a lovely effortless side gait showing good reach & drive, in good coat & condition. 2nd: SHIPP Gillyflower Della Buca Delle Fate (Imp) Ita, 2 ½ yrs sable another of good quality & breed type, lovely headpiece, good mouth, beautiful dark almond eye. Good reach of well arched neck into well laid shoulders, a shade steeper in upper arm, on the bottom end of the height standard, good overall body shape with strong back into well moulded croup and low set tail, strong hindquarters. Strong hindquarters delivering good drive on the move. She was sound both ways with a super side gait, effortless with good reach & drive, Shown in good coat & condition, a pleasure to award her the CC. 2nd: SIMMONS Riversidesong Raised On Rock Trenley (Imp), 2 yrs, sable of same type as winner with a lovely headpiece, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, a shade steeper in upper arm, good depth strong back and hindquarters. Sound both ways with a steady side gait showing good drive but not the forward reach of winner. 3rd: MARGETTS Collingvale Chardonnay, 6 yrs sable female, as 1&2 but would prefer a little more fill in cheek, wider set ears, well laid shoulders, steep in upper arm, lovely overall body shape, strong back into well moulded croup and strong hindquarters. OB (8) 1st: GEDDES Ingledene Spirit Of Ecstacy, 3 yrs, quality tri female of good breed type, excellent temperament, good mouth, super headpiece with good smooth planes, the darkest of eyes well placed to give that beautiful expression, well set ears, well arched neck into well laid shoulders, lovely angles & proportions and was well balanced throughout, stood on ample bone and tight feet, good depth and well sprung rib, strong back and loins into slightly flatter croup, lovely strong hindquarters. She was sound both ways with an excellent side gait showing good reach & drive, shown & presented in excellent condition. RCC 2nd: SMEDLEY Ch Antoc Soul Diva, 5 yrs sable another of good quality similar to winner with a lovely headpiece, nice dark eye, wider set ears, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, she was well balanced throughout with good angles & proportions, moved well in all directions. 3rd: HODGES Miss J Jopium Love Heart JW Sh.CM, 4 yrs, again another quality female of good breed type, a real eye catcher, similar to winners with a most beautiful headpiece, super angles & proportions and was well balanced throughout, would prefer tighter feet. She was sound both ways with an excellent effortless side gait, initially my winner but put the brakes on in the final run off.

VB (2)1a 1st: LOADER Ch Ingledene Lace N’ Promises, 9 years beautiful tri female of good breed type, lovely headpiece, excellent temperament, slightly narrow in under jaw, lovely dark almond eye, well placed ears, well arched neck into well laid shoulders, a shade steep in upper arm, stood on ample bone and tight feet, good depth of brisket, well sprung ribs, straight back into well moulded croup and low set tail, strong hindquarters, straight when viewed from rear. She was sound both ways with a steady side gait showing fair reach & drive. In good coat & condition. Best Veteran in breed.
