East Anglian Collie of the Year Contest

The East Anglian Collie Association's annual Collie of the Year award was established in 1990 as the national Pup of the Year (POTY) contest and was originally confined to Rough Collies.

To qualify, puppies had to have won a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place at any Kennel Club licensed Championship Show during the preceding year.

The contest is judged by one Breed Specialist and one All-Rounder, with their identities remaining secret until the day of the event.

The winner receives the Repnor Gold Challenge Trophy, with the runner-up receiving the Washbay Trophy.
