Collie (Rough)  

I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge the following classes. Thank you to the efficient steward and to the exhibitors for your support and lovely entry of quality dogs. It was great to see such good examples of the breed. Being allocated an outside ring made the day even more enjoyable.  

P (2,1) 1 White’s Mejola Main Event. Pretty 10mth old s/w bitch already doing very well. So settled and mature in movement with a sweet expression enhanced by her well used ears. Lots to like about her. Best puppy today and a very promising future ahead without a doubt. 2 Wray-Ramsden’s Takhisis Midsummer Dawn. 10mth old s/w very feminine puppy bitch with sweet eye and expression. Good length of back and overall lovely shape. A nice little girl with a very happy disposition who I’m sure will do well.  

J (1) 1 White’s Phreelancer Phederal Agent At Mejola. 10mth old tri boy who is maturing nicely and seemed very settled today. Liked his size and shape and his rear movement was excellent. I feel he just needs to fill out in foreface a little more.  

PG (6,2) 1 Wray-Ramsden’s Takhisis Aphrodite Fr J Ch Jw. 4 yr old s/w bitch. Beautiful wedge shaped head with great length of neck and big white collar. Good use of ears. She moved with drive and such elegance. Could not resist the sweetness of her expression and was delighted to award her BOB today. 2 Farthing’s Aldreen Illusion In Blue For Didek. Nice 3yr old b/m bitch of clear colour and correct proportions. Good ear carriage and moderate length of neck. Moved soundly today, better than I’d seen her move previously, and I was pleased to award her RBOB.  

O (4) 1 Blake’s Ch Corydon Trump The Lot. Such a sound sable dog of 5 years with good bone and muscle. Lovely obliquely set dark eyes and nicely moulded foreface. His movement was effortless, keeping a level topline at all times. Groomed to perfection - a credit to his owner. 2 Scott’s Aniesh Touch Of Black. 8yr old tri dog shown in gleaming black, dense coat. Really liked his head and dark, sweet, almond eye. Lovely long tail. He moved soundly around the ring. Unlucky to come up against 1 today.
