I would like to thank the Kennel Club for giving me the honour of judging Rough Collie Dogs at this prestigious show and also thanks to my two capable stewards, Mrs.H.Cook & Mrs.M.Egbury for being attentive and keeping the ring flowing. I also would like to thank the dog exhibitors for my lovely entry of quality males at times I wished there had been more award cards.

VETERAN DOG 15 2abs., a quality class.
1.Congdon,Ch/FR,Ch.Jugband Blues De Clos De Sea-Wind via Arronwell, b/m, One I have judged before and awarded a CC.,Clean head with good eye and expression, sound in body, coat of good colour and texture, moves with drive, still a lot to like about him but today had to give way to youth, BV. and on the referees decision B.V.I.B.
2.Skalin,Int.Ch/GB,Ch/LTCh/NO,Ch.DK,Ch/FI,Ch/NORD,Ch.Kiss’s Hug Fantazija, Tri, this was a close decision with 1, well made dog with good head,sweet expression, sound in shoulder, well balance overall, moved with drive just felt 1 had the edge on the day.
3.Williams,Essanjay Dark Moon Rising.
4.Clare,Bluechip Solar Storm of Skyesholm.
5.Steven,Cariadhaf Crazy Dream

MINOR PUPPY.2
1.Blakie,Kourika You’ll Do For Me, 8mth Tri,showing a lot of promise,Well balanced head with sweet expression, uses his ears well, good reach of neck, sound in shoulder, good overall shape, moved with drive.
2.Chaplin,Takhisis Lysander, another promising puppy, sweet expression, balanced head, good overall shape, moved well, just not as mature as 1.

PUPPY DOG 4
1.Brooker,Parisian Magic, and he is, 11mth. s/w, with masculine but sweet expression, head well balance with good rounded muzzle,uses his ears well, good reach of neck,sound in front and shoulder,deep chest, good overall balance with good sound rear angulation,,moved with drive keeping a good topline, should have a sound future. B.P.D.
2.Beadon,Myriehewe London Calling, tri of 10mths. Showing a lot of promise, head well balanced with good ear carriage, sound in front, good overall shape with good rear angulation, sound on the move just needs
to mature.

1.Hawkins & Foy, Beldonnes Rocket Man, Well presented s/w lovely balanced head with sweet but masculine expression,uses his ears well, good reach of neck leading to sound well angulated shoulders, deep
chest well angulated rear, sound on the move which he does with drive, one to watch for in the future.
2.Lockyer,Gataj Out Of The Woods,similar to 1.was splitting hairs, head of good shape, sweet but masculine expression,sound in front,deep chest,good rear angulation, moved with drive keeping a good topline, just thought 1 had the edge on the day.

YEARLING 5 1.Turner,Chantique Magical Mystery, This young male took my breath away. Lovely wedge head, well rounded muzzle with a dreamy but masculine expression,sound front,good reach of neck leading to well angulated shoulder,deep chest, good rear angulation, stands perfectly with that air of dignity, moves excellently with drive,couldn’t fault him, CC and on the referees decision B.O.B.,should have a bright future.
2.Lockyer,Gataj Take It On The Run, another sound male unfortunate to meet 1. Lovely head and expression,sound in body,well presented, moved with drive keeping a good topline.

4.Boyle, Monsolana Aspire to Inspire over Barrenclough
5.Lungley,Prince Of Sunlight Handsome Devil.

POST GRAD.16
1.Edwards,Starlenga Harry Potter with Elshajo,This s/w male took my eye on entering the ring, loved the way he stood foursquare, balanced Head with sweet but masculine expression, sound in front, good reach of
neck,sound shoulders, deep chest, carries a good topline on the move which he does with drive,presented in good condition, judged him 2yrs ago and he has certainly matured since then. was a close decision for
the best dog, but sure his day will come.
2.Singh,Tiganlea Task Master at Trenic, b/m with well defined head, sound overall, presented in super condition, moves well just unfortunate to meet 1.
3.Boyle,Barrenclough Diamond Skies.
4.Mcharty,Phreelancer Phortunes Leap.
5.Pullin,Barrenclough Diamond Dawn @ Myjacks

MID LIMIT 11 2abs.
1.Spendelow, Offspring The Understudy, pleasing male with good overall balance, masculine expression, sound on the move which he does with drive keeping a good topline.
2.Proctor, Wilmaranna Out Of The Blue. Pleasing type, well proportioned with good outline, lost out to 1 on movement.
3.White, Camanna Chasing Clouds over Majola.
4.Boyle,Barrenclough Heart Of Gold.
5.May,Camanna Careerchanging For McQueeba.

LIMIT 11 2abs.
1.Lockyer,Gataj Struck By Lightning, Well presented male,pleasing head and expression, sound in oulder,good depth of chest,well angulated rear,moved with drive and overall nice dog.
2.Brooker,Corisian French Connection, another sound male, balanced
head with good eye placement giving that dreamy expression, well proportioned body, deep chest, moves well.
3.Fuller, Hanvale Arthur Shelby With Damos.
4.Findlay,Camanna Clearwater.
5.Congdon,Starlenga All That Jazz From Arronwell.

OPEN 17 4abs.
1.Grainger, Samhaven Ballhanna Banjo,s/w of good structure. Pleasing well balanced head with sweet but masculine expression, good front ,well angulated shoulders, deep chest,with good topline, rear angulation
sound with well let down hocks, presented and moved well.
2.McCann. Ch.Oakland Blue Style Du Clos De Sea-wind at Zolkhan Well known blue of good colour, balanced head with good ear placement, good topline and rear angulation, just thought 1 had the edge today.
