NATIONAL WORKING AND PASTORAL - 2021

Many thanks to the Officers and Committee for their lovely invitation to judge at their well organised show and hospitality. A special thanks to my steward for doing an excellent job.  

MPD (1) 1 Milligan & Marley’s Alfsden Endless Night. 6 months old, has a nice head and expression with dark eyes, correct mouth, good bone, correct ear carriage, good reach of neck, nice shoulders, in good coat and condition, good hindquarters, good topline, must watch tail carriage on the move. Moved well and was well presented. Although stood alone was a worthy winner.  

PD (1) 1 Hanson’s Jards Ring Presence. 9 months old sable and white, has a good head and expression, correct mouth, good bone, correct ear carriage, good reach of neck, correct shoulders, well coated and in good condition, has good hindquarters, correct tail set, moved well and was well presented. Also stood alone and was a worthy winner.  

JD (3) 1 Lockyer’s Gataj Take It On The Run. 15 months old Sable and White, has a good masculine head, nice expression, correct mouth, good bone, correct ear carriage, good reach of neck, good shoulders, in good coat and condition, good hindquarters, correct tailset, has a good topline, moved well and was well presented. 2 Pryor’s Aqualita Wind Of Change. 16 months old Sable and White, also has a good masculine head, good expression, correct mouth, good bone, correct ear carriage, good reach of neck, good shoulders, in between coats at the moment, has good hindquarters, correct tailset, moved well and was well presented.  

YD (3) 1 White’s Camanna Chasing Clouds Over Mejola. 22 months old Blue Merle, has a good masculine head and a lovely expression, nice eyes, correct mouth, good bone, correct ear carriage, superb reach of neck, correct shoulders, correct coat colour although lacking length of coat at the moment, has good hindquarters, good topline, moved well and was well presented. 2 Cronk’s Chelborn That’ll Do. 23 months old Tricolour, has a lovely head and expression, correct mouth, good bone, good ear carriage, good reach of neck, good shoulders, well coated, has good hindquarters, correct tailset, moved well and was well presented.  

ND (2) 1 Milligan & Marley’s Alfsden He Lives With You. 6 months old Blue Merle, litter brother of Minor Puppy Dog winner, has a nice head and expression, good mouth, nice bone, correct ear carriage, correct shoulders, lovely coat colour and condition, superb reach of neck, has good hindquarters, correct tailset, good topline, moved well and was well presented. 2 Beaden’s Marvalan Spirit Of Rock (Imp Pol). 21 months old Tricolour, has a good head and expression, nice mouth, good bone, correct ears, good reach of neck, correct shoulders, lovely coat colour has a good topline, correct tailset. Was well presented but preferred the movement of the class winner today.  

PGD (6) 1 Randall’s Ladnar Mustriharder. 2 years old Tricolour, has a lovely masculine head, dark eyes and good expression, correct mouth, nice bone, correct ear carriage, superb reach of neck, correct shoulder placement, coat in A1 condition, has good hindquarters, excellent movement, good topline, correct tailset, moved well and was well presented. Very sound. One I have always liked from the ringside and was not disappointed. Was pleased to award him the Dog CC today. 2 Lockyer’s Gataj Struck By Lightning. 2 years old Sable and White, has a nice head and expression, good mouth, nice bone, correct ears, good shoulders, coat in A1 condition, good hindquarters, correct tailset, good topline, close up to winner. Has excellent movement and expertly presented. 3 Congdon’s Starlenga All That Jazz From Aaron Well TAF.  

LD (10) 1 Bluck’s Phreelancer Chill Phactor. 2 years old Blue Merle, another one I have liked and was a privilege to judge and was not disappointed. Headed a strong quality class. Has a lovely masculine head and expression, good mouth, lovely bone, correct ear carriage, superb reach of neck, correct shoulders, coat in excellent colour, has good hindquarters, correct tailset, good topline, moved well and was excellently presented. 2 Shipp’s No More Heroes Du Clos De Seawind JW (Imp Fra). 3 years old Sable and White, has a good masculine head, dark eyes with a good expression, correct mouth, lovely bone, correct ear carriage, good reach of neck, correct shoulders, well coated and in good condition, correct tailset, good topline, good hindquarters, moved well and was well presented. Close up to winner. 3 Geddes’ Ingledene Well Sooted.  

OD (8) 1 Congdon’s Ch/Fr Ch Jugband Blues Do Clos De Seawind Via Aaronwell (Imp Fra) TAF. 6 years old Blue Merle, has a good masculine head, correct expression, good mouth, lovely bone, correct ear carriage, lovely reach of neck, correct shoulder placement, well coated and in good condition, correct colour coat, has good hindquarters, good topline, correct tailset, has excellent movement and was well presented. Was to award him the Reserve Dog CC. 2 Mellish’s Demelewis Truth Or Dare. 3 years old Blue Merle, has a good head and expression, good mouth, nice bone, correct ear carriage, good reach of neck, good shoulders, coat in good condition and is a lovely colour, also has good hindquarters, correct tailset. Moved well and was well presented. 3 Cronk’s Culbrae Code Red At Chelborn.  

VD/B (4) 1 Wright’s Pelido David Weir. 8 years old Sable and White dog, one I have always liked and judged previously, has a good masculine head with a nice eye expression, correct mouth, has good bone, correct ear carriage, good reach of neck, has nice shoulders, coat in A1 condition, correct tailset, good topline, good hindquarters, moved well and was well presented. Was pleased to award him Best Veteran in Breed. 2 Skinner’s Samhaven Time Is Money With Nikal. 7 years old Tricolour bitch, has a lovely feminine head, good eye expression, correct mouth, good bone, correct ear carriage, good reach of neck, correct shoulders, in good coat and condition, good hindquarters, correct tailset, moved well and was well presented. 3 Skinner’s Nikal It’s Gud To Be Black VW.  

MPB (4) 1 Lockyer’s Gataj Good Time Girl. 7 months old sable and white, has a lovely feminine head with a sweet expression, nice mouth, good bone, correct ear carriage, superb reach of neck, nice shoulders, in lovely coat and condition, nice topline, correct tailset, good topline, moved well and was well presented. 2 Edwards’ Elshajo As If By Magic. 6 months old, has a good feminine head, lovely eye expression, correct mouth, good bone, correct ear placement, good reach of neck, nice shoulders, in good coat and condition, good hindquarters, correct tail carriage, nice body, moved well and was well presented. 3 Burrows’ Revdvicki True Reflection.  

PB (4) 1 Congdon’s Fridens Be My Lucky At Aaronwell (Imp Rus) NAF TAF. 10 months old Sable and White, has a lovely feminine head, has a sweet expression, good mouth, nice bone, correct ear carriage, superb reach of neck, correct shoulders, in good coat and condition, has a good topline, correct tailset, good hindquarters, moved well and was excellently presented. Was pleased to award her Best Puppy In Breed. 2 Geddes’ Ingledene Sno Angel. 10 months old Blue Merle, has a nice head and expression, correct mouth, lovely bone, good ear carriage, lovely reach of neck, correct shoulder placement, in good coat and condition also is a lovely colour, has a good topline and body, correct tail carriage. Moved well and was well presented. 3 Radford-House’s Ingledene Midnite Sky With Fivejays.  

YB (3) 1 Boyle’s Barrenclough Touch Of Silk. Nearly 20 months old sable and white, has a nice feminine head with a sweet expression, has correct mouth, good bone, nice ear carriage, good reach of neck, correct shoulder placement, in good coat and condition, good topline, correct tailset, moved well and was well presented. 2 White’s Mejola Special Reserve. 22 months old sable and white, has a nice feminine head and expression, correct mouth, good bone, nice ears, good reach of neck, nice shoulders, in good coat and condition, has correct tailset, was well presented. 3 Welsh’s Thistlewing Spell On You.

GB (5) 1 Wells’ Amalie Just Annie At Terelimon. 2 years old sable and white, has a nice feminine head with a sweet expression, good mouth, nice bone, correct ear carriage, good shoulder placement, in good coat and condition, has good hindquarters, correct tailset, moved well and was well presented. 2 Farthing’s Aldreen Illusion In Blue For Didek. 2 years old Blue Merle, has a nice feminine head, good eye expression, nice mouth, good bone, correct ears, good reach of neck, nice shoulders, coat in good condition and a nice colour, correct tailset, good hindquarters. Moved well and was well presented. 3 McDade’s Lyndale Illusion Of Love.  

PGB (6) 1 Edwards’ Elshajo Adored. 2 years old sable and white has a lovely feminine head with a sweet expression, correct mouth lovely bone, correct ear carriage, good reach of neck, correct shoulder placement, in good coat and condition, has lovely topline, correct tailset, good hindquarters, has excellent movement. Was well presented and challenged strongly for the CC. 2 Congdon’s Starlenga All My Love To Aaron Well TAF. 2 years old Tricolour, has a good head and expression, correct mouth, lovely bone, good ear placement, lovely reach of neck good shoulders, coat in good condition and well coated, has good hindquarters, correct tail carriage. Moved well and was well presented. 3 Flowers’ Serenias Heaven In Blue.  

LB (14) 1 Beaden & Arrowsmith’s Saganan Blue Diamond JW JW. 3 years old Blue Merle, she took my eye as soon as she entered the ring and wasn’t disappointed. Has a beautiful feminine head with a sweet expression. Good mouth, excellent bone, correct ear carriage, superb reach of neck, correct shoulder placement, coat in excellent condition and a loving colour as a Blue Merle should be. Has good hindquarters, lovely topline, correct tailset. She flowed round the ring as if she owned it and is very sound. Was excellently presented. Was pleased to award her the Bitch CC and eventually Best of Breed and delighted to hear that she got shortlisted in a strong Pastoral Group under Group Judge Meg Purnell-Carpenter. 2 Randall’s Ladnar Inkheart JW. 6 years old Tricolour, mother of my Dog CC winner, has a lovely feminine head with a sweet expression, good mouth, nice bone, correct ears, good reach of neck, correct shoulders, coat in excellent condition, has good hindquarters, correct tail carriage, moved well and was well presented. 3 Flowers’ Serenias Obsession.  

OB (9) 1 Bardos’ Hun Int Ch Tigenlea Make Good Time JWW KC. 6 years old, has a lovely feminine head, sweet expression, correct mouth. good bone, correct ear carriage, superb reach of neck, correct shoulder placement, well coated, and in good condition, good topline, correct tailset, good hindquarters, moved well and expertly handled. Was pleased to award her the Reserve Bitch CC. 2 Shipp’s Gillyflower Della Buca Delle Fate (Imp Ita). 4 years old, has also a lovely feminine head with a sweet expression, correct mouth, good bone, correct ear carriage, good reach of neck, good shoulder placement, in good coat and condition, good body, correct tail-set, good hindquarters. Moved well and was well presented. 3 Mellish’s Demelewis Dare To Tell.
