I was delighted for the invitation to judge the Northumberland & Durham Collie Club. I would like to thank the committee for the friendly welcome. I was pleased with my main winners. I was disappointed with some exhibits who looked groomed until I put my hands on them and found the undercoat matted. Also lacked firm condition.

MPD 1. BLAKE. DEMELEWIS SILVER SPUR AT CORYDON. Blue baby of 6 months. Still very raw but is very well put together. Liked his bone and substance. Good front and rear angulation with croup slightly sloping to correct tail carriage. Lovely tight feet. Presenting a stylish outline. Presented clean and good coat condition.
2.LOCKYER. GATAJ OF THE WOODS. Presented in good coat condition with pleasing bone and substance. Correct shape eye and well-placed ears. Good reach of neck, length, and depth of body. Presented in good coat condition. Preferred the firm condition on 1.
3. MILLIGAN. ALFSDEN HE LIVES ON.

PD. TIPPER. TIGANLEA TWIST AND TURN. A nice sable male showing a lovely outline on the stand. Good width of skull and strength of muzzle. Liked his size and bone. Demonstrating good front extension. Preferred the presentation of MPD.

JD 1. BOYLE. MANSOLANA TO INSPIRE OVER BARRENCLOUGH (IMP RUS). Tricolour male not in full coat. Would like more richer tan markings. Good dark eye and well-placed ears. Unfortunately, not moving or showing well today. Presentation could be better. Just would like more substance for his age.

YD 1.DIX. BARRENCLOUGH DIAMOND SKIES. Young sable who was beautifully presented. Good strength of skull and muzzle. Well placed ears and pleasing eye. Having enough size and substance. Looked good while showing. His movement let him down.
2. BOYLE. MANSOLANA ASPIRE TO INSPIRE OVER BARRENCLOUGH (IMP RUS)

ND 1. BLAKE. DEMELEWIS SILVER SPUR AT CORYDON
2. MAY. CAMANNA CAREER CHANGING FOR MAQUEEBA. Male of good breed type of nice size. Liked his outline and balance. His movement could have been firmer which let him down. Scores well in head and expression.
3. MILLIGAN/MARLEY. ALFSDEN ENDLESS NIGHT.

GD 1. WHITE. CAMANNA CHASINGCLOUDS OVER MEJOLA. A disappointing class of 5 entries except for my winner. This blue stood out with his clean and flowing outline. Good strength of head with correct eye and expression. Slight arch of neck fitting well into his shoulders. His length and angulations give lovely balance. Left his coat at home.
2. MAY. CAMANNA CAREER CHANGING FOR MAQUEEBA.
3. ILEY. HUGO BOSS IN BLACK DELLA VERDE SCOZIA (IMP ITA).

PGD 1. LESLIE. EDEN OF PHENOMENON AT INTERMITTENT LAKE (IMP SLO). I really liked this male for his breed type and size. Quality head, eye and ears giving a lovely expression. Good neck and shoulder angulation. Good length of body and correct tail set. Needs to strengthen in his movement.
2. ALLSOPP. AQUALITA IT’S A MIRACLE. Tricolour not in full coat but of pleasing texture. Decent shape eye and placed ears. Would like more body weight and to strengthen in his front and rear quarters.

LD 1. TIPPER. TIGANLEA TURNING BLUE. Beautiful blue male that stood out in this class. Presented in super coat condition. I really like his breed type and soundness. So well balanced giving a lovely outline while showing. Moved effortlessly around the ring.
2. HASSOCK. CAMANNA CODENAME. Sable of excellent breed type. Good strength of head and muzzle. Correct eye and expression with good reach of neck. Has great depth of body and good angulations. Not the same coat presentation or firm condition as 1.
3. BUCK. PHREELANCER CHILL PHACTOR.

OD 1. BLAKE. CORYDON TRUMP THE LOT. The best class of the day having quality dogs to choose from. Handsome sable who screams quality and breed type. Head in proportion to his size with well arched neck fitting into a good shoulder. Firm top line running into a low tail set. Well angulated hindquarters giving stylish movement. Really showed himself off for his handler. Pleased to award him CC. I believe his second. Well done.
2. CRONK. INT CH SKABONA THE GAMBLER AT CHELBORN (IMP SWE). Another super male who has style and elegance. Loved his head and expression. Presented in full coat of excellent presentation. Decent size and substance having excellent balance. Moved soundly and effortlessly. Congratulations Res CC.
3. RANDALL. LADNAR MUSTRIHARDER.

VD 1. VOGAN. LENOSANN MIDNIGHT RASCAL. Congratulations to the owner for presenting this veteran in better condition than several of the younger males. Good balance of skull with good stop. Gorgeous expression with enough neck flowing into his neck and top line. Liked his overall shape and angulations. Beautifully groomed. Best Veteran.
2, WHITE. CH MEJOLA I AM PERSUASIVE JW. Like his breed type. Having a gorgeous head that is correct shape and balance. Correct eye and ears. Good bone and substance. Worthy Champion.
