ROUGH COLLIE BITCHES
My thanks to London collie for the invitation to judge this 2020 postponed Championship show.
Two Champ shows in one day was going to be hard work, add in temperatures of 28 deg with blazing sun, and it was hard going for everyone.
I thought the dogs coped very well and with almost a two year gap in showing , training etc.
Thank you to my steward Jane Margetts who kept the ring going .
Minor puppy Bitch 3
1st Tippers . Tiganlea True Hearts Desire . Just over 6 months , coming along well, filling out in head and body . S/W stood and showed well, uses her ears to advantage. Nice reach of neck, good length of body, well muscled thighs, short hocks. Moved well.
2nd Larkin Rahlissa Toffee cake for Denora.
S/W. Nice for size,well groomed. Stands four square, uses her ears well. Sweet dark eye. Moves well

1st Congdon Fridens Be My Lucky At Aaronwell (imp Rus) Taf.
9 months shaded S/W. Super shape, so well balanced for one so young, ears spot on, dark eye , sweet expression . Good bone, tight feet. Moved well
2nd Scott. Chantique Pink Fizz
Another lovely S/W. Really splitting hairs on these two. Finer than one, lovely expression when ears settle. Again nice size, well groomed. Moves well
3rd. Mc Devitt Caronlea Cinders Song

This class showed the results of Covid , lack of handling, seeing people and ring training. I'm sure they will get the hang of it soon.
1st Hawkins & Foy. Beldones Goldikova
A lovely S/W, who was the exception. She knew exactly what she was there for. Stood and showed non stop. Ears glued to her head. Sweet eye, stop and expression. Well off for coat, good bone and feet. Moved out with drive.
2nd. Llewellyn Salsina Secret Love song.
Well grown S/W. Good for size in good coat. Good head on a beautifully arched reach of neck. Tended to stand tucked under.
3rd. Mitchell &Jordan. Denfris Rocco Barocco for Avonfair. (Imp Rus)

1st Llewellyns Artzaiak Selina De Salsina (imp ESP.)
Two year old. S/W Super Bitch. Her head handles so well, ears on top , sweetest of dark eyes, good stop. All coming together to give that elusive collie expression. So well balanced, good neck, correct length of back, nice rise over rump, her bend of stifle and short hock. Well muscled thighs. Tail long and well carried.finished off this gorgeous Bitch. She moved with drive and true. C.C. and along with my co judge BOB. Lovely to see her go BIS. All this at her first show
2nd Denfriss Rocco Barocco for Avonfair
Tri from previous class, would prefer a more almond eye. Neat feet, short hock. Moved ok.

1st. Hollywood. Amalie Loves to Sizzle
Two year old dark sable. Another who was playing up a bit but she did bring it all together at times. Her head is so balanced, ears which when she uses are bang on top. A Bitch that didn't lose her sweet expression on not using them, in fact when she threw her ears back it showed her head to perfection. Sweet dark eyes, correct stop, nice fore face and under jaw. Well arched neck, on good shoulders, deep chest with good length of back. Nice bend of stifle and short hock. When she moved she's goes like a train but sometimes not in a straight line. 2nd Baker TiganleaTwinkling Sky.
Tri, similar type, good eye , stop and ears. Neat feet and good bone. Good black coat moved well.

Golden S/W with a big white collar. Lovely head, ears well used to her advantage. , sweet eye. Giving a magical expression. Good shoulders , deep chest plenty of heart room. Nice rear end. Moved out well
2nd. Lockyer. Paradise Girl Du Close De Sea Wind For Gataj (imp Fra)
Another lovely sable, ears bang on top but a little light. Sweet eye, good for fore face and under jaw. Nice reach of neck, sloping shoulders. Deep chest. Good rear.moved well

What a beautiful class, so close, with little to choose between the first three.
One I have judged before. She has matured well. Darkest of black coats, she is presented to perfection, presents a good picture. So well balanced. Good in front and in rear, moved well
2nd Scott's Chantique Bewitched
Another beautiful tri. sweeter in eye than one but not as good in ears, they were so close it really was nit picking. Blackest of coats, good well balanced body shape, moved well

A slightly bigger S/W. Very clean in head with good planes. Shown in good condition well muscled she moved well
2nd Walker & Ritchie Chantique Cinderella At Starlenga.
Another well presented Bitch from this kennel. Heavy coated S/W. Beautiful dark eyes. Correct stop. Deep chest. Keeps her top line on the move

Took my eye when she entered the ring. In show condition. Dripping in coat, she was so well presented and she smelt beautiful. S/W. Pretty head with ears, eyes stop coming together to give a lovely sweet expression. Nice front and good reach of neck. Deep chest. Nice rise over her rump, bend of stifle and short hock enabled her to move well
2nd Hawkins & Foy Beldones Enable
Slightly bigger than one but another with a lovely head and expression from this kennel. Well balanced . Stood four square and kept her top line on the move

1st. Brooker. Telforth Sweet dreams to Corisian JW.
S/W of nearly 8 years, I swear she thought she was a two year old, she was so happy to be in the ring, and her owner had to slow her down on the move. Another well balanced and lovely for size. Good head with a beautiful expression. Good height to length . Good legs, well bent stifle and short hock,moved like an express train. Best Veteran and Best Veteran in show.
2nd Swain & Hopper Lexcols Jewel In My Crown
Lovely shaded S/W 8 years old. Neat feet, hock,and stifle . Moved well.
