I would like to thanks the officers and committee of Lancashire and Cheshire Collie Club for inviting me to judge bitches at their 2021 Championship show and for making me feel so welcome. I had a lovely entry of 52 with both CC winner Chelborn Wish List and Res. CC winner Jopium Loves To Sparkle With Meryctin being daughters of previous Bitches I had given CCs. Best Puppy went to Gatja Good Time Girl. The overall quality was excellent with just a couple not liking the indoor equestrian surface. Thanks also to my fellow judges Derek Smith and Robin Newhouse for their company during our lunch break.
Class 23 Minor Puppy Bitch 3-0
1st Hodges’ Jopium Loves To Dream. Eight Month old S&W. Lovely overall make and shape with good reach of neck with a lovely sweet expression coming from almond shaped eye well rounded muzzle flat skull and well placed ears. A little unsettled on the move but her quality shone through.
2nd Newman’s Pheelancer Phormal Dress. Eight Month old Blue Merle similar to 1 in make and shape with an excellent outline coming from correct proportion of neck and length of back. Preferred the head and expression of 1. Moved well.
3rd Ware’s Golden Gates Evolution In Blue At Wassail (IMP IT)
Class 24 Puppy Bitch 4-1
1st Lockyer’s Gataj Good Time Girl. Ten month old S&W in super condition. Correct Almond shaped eye with flat skull and good ears which were used well all giving a lovely sweet expression. Well constructed with good angulation front and rear giving a lovely outline, good reach of neck and length of back. Moved well.
2nd Mellish’s Demelewis Double Take. Eight month old Tri colour with a lovely outline coming from a lovely reach of neck, length of back and level topline. Good angulation front and rear providing her with sound movement.

1st Bluck’s Paulara Lucy In The Sky For Elshajo. Nineteen month old Tricolour with a lovely clean head and expression coming from a sweet almond shaped eye, well moulded foreface and good ears which were used well. Well constructed with good angulation, deep chest and a nice level topline. Moved well.
2nd Hodges’ Jopium Loves To Dream (1st in class 23)

1st Rose’s Uffspring Ultravox. Two and a half year old Tricolour. Lovely expression with good ears, flat skull and well rounded muzzle. Nice deep chest with a good turn of stifle and level topline which was kept while on the move.
2nd Demelewis Double Take. (2nd in Class 24)

1st Lockyer’s Gataj Honey Bee. Two and a half year old S&W beautifully turn out. Super head and expression with lovely parallel head plains, sweet eye, good ears, rounded muzzle. An excellent outline with good sound construction providing sound movement.
2nd Blake’s Corydon The Mistress. Two year old S&W with a balanced outline, clean head with a flat skull well placed eye and ears giving correct expression. Good front, shoulder and depth of chest with a correct length of back. Moved well.

1st Hodges Jopium Loves To Sparkle With Meryctin. Three year old S&W in top condition and immaculately turned out. Bristling with quality with a sweet expression, flat skull, rounded muzzle, good ears. excellent proportions of length of neck and back, level topline which was held on the move, good angulation front and rear, well muscled and good movement. My Res. CC Winner, who’s mother I was told gained a CC from me.
2nd Elshajo Adored. Two and a half year old S&W Similar to 1 with a good make and shape, nice flat skull with a lovely expression, coming from a sweet almond shaped eye well rounded muzzle and correct ears. Well balanced in body with a good turn of stifle. Moved well.

1st Ware Kind Of Magic Della Buca Delle Fate At Wassial (IMP IT). Two and a half year old Tricolour with an excellent make and shape and in excellent condition. Lovely expression with good ears which were used well. Moved sounded covering the ground with ease.
2nd Lockyer Paradise Girl Du Clos De Sea-Wind For Gataj (IMP FRA). Two year old S&W. A close call for the first spot with an excellent head and expression with a good almond shaped eye flat skull nicely rounded muzzle. Moved well.

1st Cronk Chelborn Wish List. Two and a half year old S&W. Top draw quality in a class full of quality. A sound mover covering the ground with ease. Well muscled and good confirmation fore and aft. Nice deep chest with a good length of back with topline kept on the move. Correct blunt wedge with super expression coming from a sweet eye and well placed and used ears.
2nd Shipp Flower Della Buca Delle Fate (IMP IT). Three and a half year old S&W. Good overall confirmation with a nice length of body, A nice clean head with a flat skull, correctly set ears, correct almond shaped eye and rounded muzzle. Moved soundly.

1st Hawkins Ch Brilyn Platinum Lustre. Thirteen year old Blue Merle who is an absolute credit to the owner. Top draw quality in confirmation and coat colour. Sweet eye and expression and well used ears moved well for an old lady.
2nd Boyle Barrenclough Moon River JW. Eight and a half year old S&W with excellent head and expression. Good topline and nicely balanced in body giving a lovely outline. Good movement.
