In these difficult times I feel compounded to write in praise of the show committee, who took a brave decision in not just running this show but combining it with their Ch. Show. The pre organisation was exemplary and the entry superb, covid procedures were good and exhibitors followed guidelines, yes on the day there were some delays and class clashes but these were to be expected given running of 2 shows concurrently. This model may well be the way forward for a lot of breed clubs, well done the committee.

Special Award Classes - Dog & Bitch
Puppy.

1st    Naulls Wynele Cover Girl 8 month female smooth who stood out in this class, lovely balance throughout, correct headpiece with dark eyes and well-set ears, nicely tipped, well laid shoulders to excellent back, tail just long enough, nice turn of stifle moved with a light flowing balance for one so young.
2nd  Welsh Thislewing Spell on You 10 month sable rough female who gave a lovely outline, well presented, good muzzle to head proportions, doesn’t need any more stop, excellent ears, little up on upper arm, nice flow through back over loin, good turn of stifle, moved well in profile just a tad close going away.

Post Graduate
1st     Martin Shandlmain Blu Chief  2year smooth male in really good condition, firm and strong throughout giving the impression he could work all day, muzzle deep to reflect his strength, ears could be a touch closer, lovely neck to level back and deep chest, straight in foreleg and enough turn of stifle, moved freely and with purpose.
2nd    Randall Ladnar Mustriharder nearly 2yr old rough Tri male who I really liked and pushed 1 close, lovely expression sweet but definitely male, excellent head shape, nice dark eye and well set ears, well-constructed front, straight in foreleg with good width of brisket, super feet, had a lovely flow through back and over loin, I could just have taken a bit more turn of stifle. Moved well in profile and clean coming and going.
3rd    Naulls Wynele Blu Alice

1st   Welsh Thislewing Harp String 2 yr old rough sable female who had the sweetest of expressions, well-proportioned headpiece with lovely dark eye and small ears well ears, well laid shoulders and a nice balance of chest depth and width, firm back to nice rise over loin, I could take a tad more turn of stifle on her but she moved soundly, without drama covering good ground.
2nd  Stillwell Bellawave Caught in a Dream 5 yr Tri rough female who on another day could easily turn the tables on 1. Excellent wedge to headpiece, alert expression, stop could be a fraction less pronounced, underjaw could be a tad stronger. Lovely construction in body, deep in chest and I loved her overall proportions, well angulated and moved with balance and grace.
