EAST ANGLIAN COLLIE ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 18.4.21
ROUGH COLLIE DOGS AND BARBARA BLAKE MEMORIAL OPEN STAKES
First of all, congratulations to the Officers and Committee for all their hard work to get this show up and running in these difficult times. All went well, and we were blessed with perfect weather. Well done everybody.
Rough Collie Dogs.
As usual, quite a variation in size, type and conformation. Some heads lacked the desired flat skull and a few lacked the slight stop required to help give the head its overall balance. All the exhibits were clean and most were well groomed. Some dogs lacked muscletone which affected their movement. On the plus side, temperaments were excellent as one would expect, teeth were noticeably cleaner on most exhibits than last time I judged Rough Collies, and only a couple of short tails. I was happy with my main winners, and pleased to see the dog go on to BIS.
