Yorkshire Collie Club Open Show
3rd February 2019.

A big thank you to the club for asking me to Judge at their show, looking after me so well and to my stewards Mary & Pat for their assistance.
I was very please with my entry which in general I found to be of very good quality especially the bitches.

Class 1 Special Beginners Dog or Bitch 2 (1)
1st Danilova’s Glenoak Gold Brocade. A lightly built 2 ½ year old Sable bitch of good height, well suited to this class. Good in general with a well balanced head, having correct eye placement and scissor bite. Nice top line with good angulation front and rear. Moved with enjoyment maybe a little more under coat would have helped, but her loving nature shone through.BSB

Class 3 Minor Puppy Dog 2 (1)
1st Boyle’s Barrenclough Moon Magic. A well proportioned and heavily coated 7 mnth old Sable Dog, with correct head and scissor bite, correct forequarters and level top line, Good spring of rib. Well angulated hind quarters, moved well enough. I would have preferred a little less coat.

1st Boyle’s Barrenclough Moon Magic.

Class 5 Junior Dog  4 (1)
1st Randall’s Ladnar Balthasar A beautifully presented just over 1 year old Blue Merle Dog Well balanced head, correctly placed eye, scissor bite and good ears. Level top line with rise over the loins. Good angulation front and rear. Moved well.
2nd Brooker’s Corisian French Connection Another well presented dog. This time a 1 ¼ yr old Sable with a balanced head and correct scissor bite. I would have preferred a little less stop. Nice top line well angulated front and rear, showed very well.
3rd Ross’ Danfrebek Dizzy Rascal.

Class 6 Maiden Dog 1
1st Mill’s Lynmack Starman. A 3 yr old Sable dog with a correct head, eye placement and bite.
Level top line good conformation seemed a little edgy when I went over him. Moved OK.

Class 7 Graduate Dog 1
1st Brooker’s Corisian French Connection

Class 8 Post Graduate Dog 3 (2)
1st Cooney’s Jopium Danny Boy at Lingwell. A 2 ¼ yr old Sable Dog of good size and conformation. Well balanced head with correct eye and bite stood and moved well.

Class 9 Limit Dog 4 (3)
1st Dodsworth & Carr’s Rosschell Will I Am at Libanel. A 5 yr old tri colour dog with a well balanced head,  nice well placed eye and correct bite. Good level top line of decent length. Good conformation front and rear stood and showed well. RBD

Class 10 Open Dog 2 (1)
1st Blake’s Corydon Trump The Lot. A 2 ½ yr old Sable Dog of good size. Balanced head with correct ears, eyes and scissor bite. Good conformation front and rear.  Moved with ease, stood and showed well. BD BOB.

3 (1 Class )11 Veteran Bitch
1st Whitaker’s Sabiha’s Sweet Melody A 11 ½ yr old Sable Bitch This old lady is doing very well for her age. All round  a well balanced collie with a good head and body. And moved well. BV
2nd Collins’ Wicani Love On Blue Fridays at Rosscar Again a good all round  well balanced bitch of 10 yrs  Good body and conformation, but not ageing quite as well as 1st. 

Class 12 Minor Puppy Bitch No Entries

Class 13 Puppy Bitch 4 (3)
1st Blake’s A 11mth old sable bitch A well balanced young lady with a good head correct eye and scissor bite, Good  top line of decent length. Well angulated front and rear and moved very well.BP

Class 14 Junior Bitch 10 (3)
1st Flint’s Highnol Flaming Heart. A 1 ¼ yr old Sable Bitch of good overall balance and proportion, correct head, with a well placed eye and scissor bite. Good conformation front and rear and had the edge over 1 on movement.
2nd Whittaker’s Siluto Misterious Girl. A 1 year old Blue Merle Bitch. Another with good overall balance and proportions. Good head well placed almond eye and scissor bite again, good conformation front and rear and  moved OK.
3rd Gallagher’s Gemeid Call Me Trouble.

Class 15 Maiden Bitch 6 (1)
1st Blake’s Rayawna’s Ring Of Roses For Corydon.
2nd Hollinshead’s Lanrue Diamonds In Blue At Starlyn. A nearly 2 tr old Blue Merle Bitch of overall good balance and proportion, Correct head with well placed eye and scissor bite Good fore and hind quarters and moved well.
3rd Whitaker’s Siluto Over The Blue Moon

Class 16 Graduate Bitch 10 (1)
1st Boyle’s Monsolana Madame Blues Over Barrenclough. A 4 yr old Blue Merle Bitch, of good balance, correct head well placed eye and scissor bite, well arched neck leading to a good top line. Well conformed front and rear, moved well.
2nd Flint’s Highnol Flaming Heart.
3rd Fox’s DanfrebekPlatinum Dust Avec Alanita

Class 17 Post Graduate Bitch. 8 (3)
1st Blake’s Kinneret Kopper Kissess For Corydon. A 2 yr old Sable Bitch with a good head having a correct eye and scissor bite. Good conformation front and rear nice top line a little extra coat would have been nice, but her movement made up for it. RBB
2nd Boyle’s Monsolana Madame Blues Over Barrenclough.
3rd Copsey’s Gemheid Lilac Light At Roshura

Class 18 Limit Bitch 6 (2)
1st Fox’s Erjon Euphoric For Alanita. A 4 yr old Tri Bitch A really good well balanced bitch with a good head having a nicely placed eye, correct scissor bite leading to a well arched neck and good topline supported by a good, body and angulated front and hind quarters. Moved well.
2nd Whitaker’s Aniesh Misty Blue Moon Of Siluto. A 5 yr old Blue Merle Bitch. Having a balanced head, good ears,eyes and scissor bite. Good top line and well set tail. Good conformation front and rear and moved well.
3rd Copsey’s Gemheid Lilac Light At Roshura

Class 19 Open Bitch. 7 (3)
1st Fox’s Alanita Winter Jazzamine. A 4 ½ yr old Sable Bitch, with a good head with a well placed eye,correct scissor bite  and Sweet inquisitive expression. well arched neck and good top line of good length. Well conformed front and rear, moved well. Stood and showed very well. BB RBOB
2nd Mellish’s Corydon Victoriana For Demelewis. A 5 yr old Tri Bitch with a balanced head having a well placed eye and scissor bite Good top line of decent length. Good conformation front and rear, moved well.
3rd Brand’s Ronansprey Midnight Kiss.
