Thank you so much to the committee of Northumberland and Durham Collie club for inviting me to judge SAC classes. Thank you also to the exhibitors for coming under me and giving me the wonderful entry of 19. This was my first judging appointment and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Special Award Yearling Dog Or Bitch (6,2)

1st BROOKER Corisian French Connection JW - S/w male, nearly 2 years of age, who caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring. He has a beautiful head, with a dark, almond shaped eye. Well placed ears giving that melting expression. Good reach of neck leading on to well laid shoulders. Good length of back, level top line, good turn of stifle with Well let down hocks. Moved well and Nicely presented today, however he seemed a bit on edge due to the females.

2nd FOX Alanita Constant Shydz O’jaz - S/W 6 month old puppy. This little girl seemed quite confident considering the hall we were in. She had a dark, almond shaped eye, with a slight stop. Good length of head with nicely tipped ears. Good length of neck leading into well laid shoulders. Well off for bone. Good length of back going into a good turn of stifle. Well let down hocks. Moved well for her age.

Special Award Post Graduate Dog or Bitch (8,3)

1st BROWN Lillyway Latttimer At Nithview - Tri dog of 2 years of age, Jet black coat and beautifully presented. Nice head with a good tan. He had a dark almond shaped eye with a slight stop. Well tipped ears which he used well. Good length of neck leading into well laid shoulder. Very nice shape with level top line. Well off for bone. Good turn of stifle with well let down hocks. He moved well. Really like this boy. 

2nd McCARTE Beldones Fun ‘N’ Games at Roughrigg - S/W bitch. This girl had a lovely head and expression, with a dark, almond eye. Good stop with flat skull. She was reluctant to use her ears today which was a shame. Good length of neck with well laid shoulders. Good length of back with a good turn of stifle. Well off for bone and well let down hocks. Moved ok.

Class Special Award Open Dog or Bitch (5,3)

1st BRAND Ronansprey Rumour Has It Sh.CM. This Blue Merle bitch of 6 years of age caught my eye straight away. She has a beautiful head with almond shaped eye. Slight stop with well placed ears which she used to an advantage.  Good reach of neck with well placed shoulders. She has a beautiful shape. Good turn of stifle, well off for bone and well let down hocks. Moved well. I really loved this girl. 

2nd BOYLE Arklethill Helena - S/W bitch of 3 years of age. Good length of head with a slight stop. Good reach of neck with well laid shoulders. Good length of back with a nice turn of stifle. Well off for bone with well let down hocks. Moved ok.
