SAC CLASSES

Thank you for inviting me to judge SAC classes at this warm and friendly show. The weather was kind to us; a sunny, breezy day.

Rough Collie Junior Dog/Bitch  (1) 

1st Lockyer Perfect Timing du Clos de Sea-Wind for Gataj (Imp Fra) Sable and white boy of eight months with a nice head, nice moulding to fore-face, good underjaw, with nice clean parallel lines, nice clean back skull, with a nice dark oblique eye. Ears where they should be, nice long neck going into well laid shoulders. Nice round bone, good length of back, well ribbed, nice turn of stifle, good length of tail. But at the moment he is rather bum-high and on the move he looked a bit stiff in rear action - maybe he should be left at home to mature up (just  my opinion).

Rough Collie Graduate Dog/Bitch (6,3)

1st Lockyer Nasty Girl du Clos de Sea-Wind at Gataj (Imp Fra) Two year old sable and white bitch with a very nice head on her, with a very nice sweet, dark, oblique eye. Nice moulding to fore-face, and pleasant three quarter tip ear placement giving a lovely sweet expression. Good shoulder placement, nice depth of ribbing, good turn of stifle, nicely muscled. Nice sweep over the loin, good length of tail, and moved and showed well. A very nice bitch.

2nd Wray-Ramsden Takhisis Aphrodite JW Fr J Ch Sable and white bitch with a large white shawl, with a pleasing head, nicely tipped ear placement, nice reach of neck, good lay of shoulder, good confirmation, and nice length of tail. Moved and showed well. Nicely presented.

3rd Daley Rahlissa Charmaine with Melayla

Rough Collie Open Dog/Bitch (6,5)

1st Wray-Ramsden Takhisis Dream Weaver Sable and white dog with a good confirmation, with a pleasing head, nice moulding of fore-face, good strong underjaw, nice length of neck, nice depth of ribbing. In good coat and condition. Moved well.

Smooth Collie Special Yearling Dog/Bitch (1)

1st Moores Blamorder Ridin On a Rainbow to Manordeifi Eighteen month old tricolour bitch with a pleasing head and outline, nice dark eye, nice clean back skull, good reach of neck, good lay of shoulder, nice ribbing, good turn of stifle, nice sweep over loin, and good length of tail. Moves okay.

Smooth Collie Open Dog/Bitch (9,4)

1st Denton Ch Brackenhaye Fields of Gold Sable and white dog, and this dog is all male! Nice length of head, good underjaw, good indentation, nice dark, oblique eye, ears where they should be, good reach of neck, going into well laid shoulders. Nice bone, good ribbing, nice sweep over loin, good length of tail, nice turn of stifle. Moved and showed well. A worthy champion.

2nd Benton Oakestelle Venus de Milo A very pretty blue merle bitch of a gorgeous colour. Nice length of head, nice clean back skull, nice dark oblique eye, good underjaw, nice length of neck, and ears where they should be. Good confirmation. Moved and showed well.
