Rough Collie:
P (1) 1 Beldones Uptown Girl of Rosschell. 9 month sable bitch who had the most delightful
disposition. She was clearly enjoying her day. Beautifully balanced head proportions with a
beautiful expression to match. She has a strong well arched neck which flowed into her
nicely set shoulders. Good angulation fore and aft and straight when viewed from front and
rear. Nicely sprung ribs, and a well angulated rear with lovely neat pushy hocks. An all round
nice puppy with personality plus. BPIB.
J (4,3) 1 White’s Mejola Physical Attraction. 17 month elegant tri bitch. My opening critique
notes say ‘what a mover’ and she is. Head proportions ok to body and presenting a nice
clean blunt wedge. Ears well set and used to her advantage. Darkest of pigment, and
excellent strong well arched neck into a well muscles and well angled front assembly. Ribs
well sprung and a nice deep chest. Complimenting rear angles which are well muscled and
the most fantastic turn of stifle. There is no wonder that this bitch moves as she does with
such good conformation. Lacking a bit of coat but that only serves to accentuate her lovely
outline.
PG (6,2) 1 Whitaker’s Siluto Misterious Girl – 18 month tri bitch who presents a beautiful
profile. Well proportioned head illustrating a lovely blunt wedge. Well set ears and strong
arched neck. Good front angulation with a nice deep chest and rib. Strong loin leading to
well angled hindquarters. So clean away and back and excellent profile movement
illustrating wonderful reach and drive. RBOB.
2 Cook’s Whatacoo Blaze of Glory – Nearly 24 month merle bitch who is a picture in profile.
Preferred the head proportions of 1, but nothing to dislike in her head makeup. Moves with
good reach and drive, she was just a little proud of her tail on occasion which was probably
caused by the surface. My concluding notes say nice bitch, and she is.
3 Ross’s Danfrebek Dizzy Rascal.
O (6,1) 1 White’s Mejola Fate and Fortune – Stunning 3 year old merle boy of the highest
quality. He is so well put together. Lovely balanced head which is so in proportion and
presenting a true blunt wedge. Good ear set, and his class flows from the tips of those ears
all the way to the tip of his tail. His angles fore and aft are so balanced he can’t but move
with the reach and drive that you don’t always see. He took BOB over the post-grad winner
as he was just that much stronger in his rear action. Lovely lad.
2 Whitaker’s Aniesh Misty Blue Moon of Siluto – 5 year old merle bitch. Nice strong dapple,
with a neat head providing a lovely expression. Well made all through she just didn’t have
the reach and drive of 1, or that of her daughter who won the post-grad class. A lovely bitch
all through.
