Thank you to the officers and committee of the society for offering me the appointment. 
The rain held off but the wind made things interesting, I thought at one point we were all going to end up in the next county.

Puppy I entered
Boyle’s Barrenclough Golden Linnet.
9 month sable puppy bitch in beautiful bloom. She had good bone and angulation fore and aft with length of back and good depth of chest. Her head is clean and balanced with flat skull and good underjaw. In spite of the weather she used her ears well and has a pretty expression from dark well set eyes. She moved well. RBOB

Junior I entered
Boyle’s Monsolana Love Style over Barrenclough (imp)
17 months tri bitch, elegant shape from good length of neck and back, well angulated and good length of tail. Her head is balanced with flat skull and clean through the cheeks. Eye is a little full and ears a little wide set. She moved very well.

Post Graduate 5 entered I absent
1st Cooney’s Jopium Danny Boy at Lingwell
Young sable boy maturing into a nice adult, balanced well angulated outline with good bone and coat in lovely condition. His chest is deep and broad with plenty of heart and lung room and well sprung ribs. His head is clean with no lump or bumps, flat skull ears on top and the most beautiful eye and expression. He moved well but typical young boy, his mind was elsewhere. BOB and delighted he also went BIS.
2nd Boyle’s Barrenclough Heart Of Gold
Very promising 9 month old sable dog ( brother to puppy winner). Liked him very much, elegant shape from good length of neck and back and well set tail, lovely bone without being overdone. He has such a lovely expression in a clean well balanced head with decent underjaw, he has neat ears on top of his head and dark expressive eyes. He moved very well for a young puppy. BP

Open 2 entered
1st William’s Essanjay Moonlight Shadow
Mature tri bitch with good outline, good lay of shoulder and bend of stifle, good length of tail. Her head is balanced and clean and her ears are on top of her head but it is her movement that won her this class effortless powerful long reaching stride, she could go all day.
2nd Boyle’s Monsolana Love Style over Barrenclough (imp)
First in junior.
