East Anglian Collie Association Championship show - 5th August 2018

Thank you for inviting me to judge this prestigious show. It was a very enjoyable experience and I had some  good quality dogs in my winners

VETERAN BITCH (Entries 4)
1st Bellawave Moonlite Melody. Tri 11 year old bitch. Carried her age well moving and standing like a young bitch.  Everything in the right place and I was delighted to see her win Best Veteran in Show.
2nd Saganan Lady True Blue B/M 7 years old with a nice head and expression, good bone and substance, moved correctly with ease.
3rd Tri Gemheid Written in Wribbons

MINOR PUPPY BITCH (Entries 12 abs 2)
1st Demelewis Double Dare B/M Just 6 months on the day and looking her age but what a lovely puppy. Nicely broken up colour with an immature head but a stunning outline and correct front and rear angulation. Moving with purpose for one so young
2nd Saganan Dancing in the Dark Tri 8 months Another nice puppy a shade heavier than 1st. Overall a lot of the above applies but lost out to the better moving puppy.
3rd Maysinder Empress of India

PUPPY BITCH (Entries 7 abs 1)
1st Gemheid Call Me Madam. Tri 10 ½ Month Presented well with a correct head and expression. Well arched neck into excellent should nicew body and she moved soundly. She was the more mature puppy in the challenge so I was pleased to see her win BEST PUPPY IN SHOW  
2nd Saganan Dancing in the Dark
3rd Ladnar Trust in Me

JUNIOR BITCH (Entries 4 abs 1 wd 1)
1st Tudorlyn Dusty Moon Heaart S/W  18 months s/w stood alone Nice head and expression and moved well enough for its placing.

NOVICE BITCH (Entries 6)
1st Maysinder Empress of India
Overall the best mover in this class. Nice head good length of neck and adequate bone for her age, but all these novice dogs need to have more practice and presentation which will only improve them
2nd Imaginists a Bird on the Wire  7 months who seemed to have settle a little from the previous class and all the above applies.
3rd Milligan Marley’s Ladnar Trust in Me

GRADUATE BITCH (Entries 6)
1st Wicani Blue Ivy for Kevaranna A two year old who won this class with ease. Lovely head and ears with good underjaw . Correct colour Nice reach of neck falling into good lay of shoulder Lovely movement front and rear. Pushed hard for the top place.   Res CC
2nd Stregato the Maleficent at Marketdene 21 month old s/w with a lovely head and expression,nice reach of neck. A good honest bitch who was unfortunate to meet no 1.
3rd Demelewis Dare to be Unique at Starside

POST GRADUATE BITCH (Entries 8 abs 2)
1st Bellawave Caught in a Dream  4 year old Tri bitch  Very feminine with a lovely head and expression fitting the standard. Moved out with drive and was sound both coming and going and in profile. Seriously considered for the Reserve CC
2nd Coarhabeg Forget Me Not at Pomnenka. A excellent coloured b/m with a lot to like but overall shorter in back than I like although she was very balanced and presented beautifully. A real showgirl.
3rd Bellawave Cast a Spell

MID LIMIT BITCH  (Entries 3 abs 1)
1ST Ingledene Frost at Nite Tri Lovely colour correct head and expression – good angulation front and rear  Moving sound front and back and in profile
2nd Samhaven Time is Money with Nikal  Tri rather overweight which spoiled the outline but she showed herself to her best

LIMIT BITCH  (Entries 6 abs 2)
1st Fata Turchina Ladnar Di Cambianjo (Imp) 2 year old b/m  Obvious winner of this class, lovely blue clear colour and stood four square with balance Correct head and expression and moved out with drive.
2nd Brooklynson’s Hepburn at Rossavon  More workmanlike but a super bitch who on another day and in coat could have taken this class. I loved her type and found her sound and fitting the standard well.
3rd Phreelancer Phond Memories

OPEN BITCH (Entries 6 abs 1)
1st Churchoak Temptress at Wicani  b/m 6 years old  She had the most beautiful head and expression with a lovely strong arched neck and correct shoulder and upper arm. She moved with drive keeping her topline and was a lovely strong fit bitch that could do the work she was bred for. She fits the standard to perfection. I was so pleased to award her the 3rd  CC which gives her the title of Champion. Reserve Best of Breed Best  Opposite Sex
2nd Corydon Moonflower 4 year old beautifully presented nice bone just could not complete with no 1

1ST Ch Tiganlea Silver Trinket  5 year old B/M  a quality bitch
Good colour nice bone and shows well just unfortunate to meet the open bitch today.
