ROUGH COLLIES
P (4/3)
1st – Cook & Watkins Whatacoo Blaze of Glory, 6 month old blue merle bitch, still quite immature, I believe from her owner that this is only her second show, so she coped with the surroundings very well, her head still needs to develop and her muzzle needs to fill out, correct shaped eye, wedge shaped head with enough stop, good ear carriage, which she used well, in good coat which was well presented, moved reasonably well once settled. BP.

1st – Scott’s Aniesh Portrait in Blue ShCM, 8 year old blue merle dog, wedge shaped head with a flat skull, correct eye and earset, which gave the desired expression when he decided to use them, good length of neck leading to well laid shoulders, good depth of rib, well off for bone, correct turn of stifle, in good coat of correct texture, moved well on strong powerful hocks, won BOB today on maturity over puppy.
2nd – Farthings Ladnar One More Time for Didek, 6 year old tricolour bitch, in good coat and condition, nicely boned, good length of neck, correct shaped eye, wedge shaped head and well placed stop, ears a little heavy, but used well, moved well with a level topline, won RBOB today on maturity.
BORDER COLLIES
P – (1)
1st – Lees Master of Illusion, 8 month old black & white dog, of good size, good length of neck, leading to strong shoulders, well boned, nice head and correct ear placement, still needs to fill out and develop in chest, moved and showed well for his young handler BP, and I was pleased to see him win Puppy Group 4.  Well done.
J – (2)
1st – Kinton’s Kinaway I Have a Dream JW, black & white bitch, 16 months old, in good coat and condition, lovely head and eye of correct shape, good length of neck leading to well laid shoulders, moved with plenty of drive and held a level topline.
2nd – Austin & Zolakovas Hysteps Made to Measure, 15 month old black & white bitch, nice head and a lovely expression, well sprung ribs, in good bone, and a good turn of stifle, presented in lovely condition, she too moved very well with a level topline.

PG – (3)
1st – Gowing’s Miraje It’s Too Darn Hot at Pikara, 4 year old black and white bitch, caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring, and once handled I was not disappointed, beautiful head giving a very intelligent expression, she was full of personality, and didn’t always stand as she should, lovely long neck which led to well laid shoulders, good length of back and tail, well boned and muscled, presented in fantastic condition, when she moved, she glided round the ring and looked like she could do a days work, I was very pleased to award her BOB, and was thrilled to see her awarded Group 1.
2nd- Kinton & Davis Kinaway All is Said and Done for Jacmalis JW, 16 month old black and white dog, strong head with a masculine expression, presented in excellent condition, well off for bone, held a level topline on the move, good spring of rib and length of neck, showed well, unlucky to meet 1 on such sparkling form.
3rd – Hamsons Wizaland Celestial Saphire.
O – (4/1)
1st – Gowing’s Wildblue It’s The Business (Imp USA) ShCM, 8 year old black & white dog, totally belies his age, could show the youngsters a thing or two, from the same kennel as the Post Graduate winner, and I was literally splitting hairs between them, the bitch just outmoved him today, very strong head, no mistaking his sex, well off for bone, good sping of rib and deep chest, good length of neck leading to well laid shoulders, presented in fantastic ondition, moved very well on strong hocks, I was pleased to award him RBOB, and thank you to huis owner for bringing two wonderful dogs for me to judge.
2nd – Radford-Houses Tudorhurst Festival at Fivejays, 6 year old black & white dog, nice head and eye, good length of neck, well laid shoulders and good length of back, well boned, presented in good condition, didn’t quite have the rear action of 1, but still a very nice dog.
3rd – Hamsons Wizaland Highland Diamond.

1st – Forbes Willowhurst Vanity, 3 year old, tricolour bitch, with a good head and eye giving a sweet expression, correct ears which she used well, flat skull, well arched neck, good shoulders and length of back, presented in good condition, showed and moved very well for her young handler, her got the best out of her, so I was pleased to award them BOB.  Well done.
O – (3/2)
1st- Forbes Natalain Kilkenny at Willowhurst, 3 year old, sable and white bitch, nice head and expression, flat skull, correct ear carriage, well arched neck, good shoulders and length of back, well of bone, presented in good condition, moved well.  In the challenge for BOB, the Post Graduate winner just gave a little bit more. RBOB.
SHETLAND SHEEPDOG
P – (1)
1st – Winfields Carolelen Classic Star by Oakcroft, 9 month old golden sable and white bitch, sweet eye and expression, flat skull, correct ears which she used to her advantage, well arched neck, leading to good shoulders and length of back, good bone and turn of stifle, moved very well, in good coat which was well presented, very pleased to award her BP, and was delighted to see her win Puppy Group 1.

1st – Winfields Oakcroft Celtic Faery, Golden sable and white bitch, 21 months old, very feminine expression, good stop and flat skull, correctly placed ears which were well used, good length of neck leading to well laid shoulders, good length of back and tail, in good coat which was well presented, moved steadily once settled.
2nd – Walkers Channerswick Penny Lane, 19 month old blue merle bitch, slightly bigger than 1, well placed stop and flat skull, good shoulders and length of back, showed well, moved with a level topline, presented in good condition.
3rd – Devesons Milesend Sea Pearl.

 

 

 

O – (4)
1st – Bastiani & Johns CH Hawk Eye Des Romarins de Mayerling joins Auberswell JW, 5 year old blue merle dog, very well presented, good head and expression, well placed stop and flat skull, correct ear carriage which he used to his advantage, ample bone, and good length of neck, well spring ribs and deep chest, moved very well with a level topline.  I was happy to award him BOB and was pleased to see him win Group 4.
2nd – Devesons Janetstown Je Suis JW ShCM, 3 year old sable and white bitch, different type to 1 but definitely had presence, showed non stop, sweet eye and expression, good head with a flat skull, well arched neck and good shoulders, in good coat and very well presented.  Pleased to award her RBOB.
3rd – Walkers Tooralie’s Matilda.

1st – Hollis Pretty Bear Wild Flower Mit Adjucet (Imp), 4 year old brown bitch, stood alone but thoroughly deserved 1st, this bitch oozes personality and has the look at me attitude in the ring, she is very well balanced throughout, nothing is overdone, very feminine, head correctly proportioned, good shoulder placement and length of upper arm which enabled her to move with plenty of drive with a level topline, just a shame the ring wasn’t bigger as she couldn’t fully extend, deep chest and well sprung ribs good length of back, in super coat of the correct texture and presented in tip top condition, very well handled to show off her many virtues, pleased to award her BOB and thrilled to see her awarded Group 2.
