ROUGH COLLIES

I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of Border Union Agricultural Society for inviting me to judge Rough Collies. I thoroughly enjoyed my day although the weather was not too kind but the wet weather ring was big. Thank you to all the exhibitors for coming under me and for accepting my awards in sporting fashion. I felt the dogs were marginally better than the bitches but feel that movement is becoming a big issue. Do people not watch their dogs or do they no know what they are looking for? My winners pleased me immensely and I was delighted to make a dog up and give a RCC to an exhibitor whose face was a picture - wish I had had a camera. My thanks must also go to my stewards who were excellent and made my job so much easier.
