I would like to thank Yorkshire Collie Committee for inviting me to judge their Open Show and to my stewards for their warm welcome. I had a lovely day and thank you to the exhibitors who bought me some lovely Rough Collies to judge and for putting up with the hot weather on the day

1st Cooney’s Jopium Danny Boy at Lingwell 7 month old s/w male head handled well with correct stop, ears a little heavy but looked the part when he showed them Good expression leading to good reach of neck in good coat with correct tail length moved well Pleased to award him BP and RBOB

2nd Whitaker’s Sabiha’s Songbird with Sachenda golden sable bitch who is litter sister to the best veteran she also had dark eye tipped ears with a sweet expression groomed well level top line moved well

1st Randall’s Samhaven Hopeful Ladnar Just over 8 month old blue merle bitch with coat of good colour which is well marked well round muzzle correct shaped eyes giving sweet expression correct tipped ears which she used well good depth of chest and good confirmation groomed to perfection as always from this kennel moved well just loved her when she came into the ring and pleased to award her BP and BPIB

1st Brooker’s Gerian Sun Kisses Over Corisian Just over 12 month old s/w bitch who I liked as soon as she came into the ring she has sweetness which showed in her expression lovely dark eye tipped ears which she never stopped showing good reach of neck super shape and well off for bone moved well and groomed to perfection will watch her with interest was so pleased to award her BB and BOB
2nd Boyle’s Barrenclough Touch of Thyme 13 month old s/w bitch with dark eye tipped ears which she used all the time I would have preferred more under jaw reach of neck coat needed to be groomed better moved well

Fox’s Erjon Euphoric for Alanita 2 year old tri bitch who I had judged before and still like her she has a lovely expression with dark eye tipped ears which she used good reach of neck correct scissor bit level topline correct tail set stood and showed for her owner tight feet moved well
2nd Whitaker’s Aniesh Misty Blue Moon of Siluto 3 year old blue merle bitch of correct colour however think she has left her coat at home today dark eye good muzzle ears a little light reach of neck leading into a level top line moved well

2nd Hassock’s Beldones Oh La La at Camanna just over 2 year old s/w bitch with sweet expression correct muzzle dark eye and tipped ears reach of neck in good coat stood four square moved well level top line lovely shape
