ROUGH COLLIES
PUPPY – (2/1 abs)
1st – NEWTON’S Corydon Victoria Rose at Fiorcara – 9 month old rich sable/white bitch puppy in well presented coat of correct texture, lovely head with smooth parallel planes and correct almond shape eye of good colour. Well set ears, nice length of neck sitting in well placed shoulders, good chest, good firm back giving a nice level topline on the move when she strode out well with good forward reach and drive on a slippery floor. Best Puppy and Pastoral Puppy Group 4.
JUNIOR (4/3 abs)
1st – ADAM’S & CARLYON Latika Actis Poland at Dycoshem (Imp Pol) – Pretty sable/white bitch of 13 months, pleasing overall shape and outline, nice head with a well placed stop and correct almond eye, nice length of neck sitting on good shoulders, good length of tail. Moved well enough but slippery floor affected her confidence slightly. Would like to see her outside. Well presented.
POST GRADUATE (6/3 abs)
1st – HANSON’S Ingledene Boogie Nite at Jards – Sable/White bitch who has just reached 6 years of age. Well moulded foreface, nice eye, well set ears, very pleasing front assembly with well placed shoulders and good chest, correct length of back, moved well. Well presented.
2nd – ADAM’S & CARLYON Ladnar Kiss’n Temptation at Dycoshem
3rd – GOWER’S Lynmead Amalie Sky So Blue
OPEN (5/3 abs)
1st – NEWTON’S Fiorcara Sweet Rhapsody – 5 year old sable/white bitch presented extremely well head handles well with smooth parallel planes, kind eye with nicely tipped and well placed ears, well arched neck flowing into well laid back shoulders, lovely chest, good length to height ratio, well constructed giving good front reach and rear drive, outmoved the rest on the day to give her Best of Breed. Pleased she went Pastoral Group 4.

JUNIOR (2/0 abs)
1st – TINKER’S Hillhenry Winter Storm – Blue Merle dog of 16 months old in good coat, correct head and good dentition, neck sits well on shoulders but would prefer a bit more arch of neck, good chest, good length of back, correct length of tail, moved well. RBOB
2nd – STOCK’S Shemist Summer Storm – Sable dog puppy of just 6 months old. Very promising but raw puppy, exquisite head, lovely jaw and lip line, correct almond shaped eye, lovely arch of neck, beautiful chest for one so young, correct front and rear angulation correct length of tail, moved extremely well, confident puppy and one to watch. Best Puppy in Breed
POST GRADUATE (3/1 abs)
1st – TINKER’S Hillhenry Winter Storm
2nd – GLIBBERY’S Jontygray The Blacksmith – 4 year old dog of sound construction and movement but would prefer teeth set square in jaw.
OPEN (4/2 abs)
1st – STOCK’S Shemist Black Wizard – Tri Colour dog of 3 years of age, lovely head, eye, expression, well set ears, lovely arched neck in well placed shoulders, good chest, nice spring of rib, good length of back and tail, held topline well on the move and strode out to take Best of Breed with ease.
2nd – TINKER’S Hillhenry Winter Storm
