Many thanks to the committee for this lovely invitation. The venue a cosy hall with a lovely atmosphere , to be critical ring way too small to correctly assess any dog on the move. On paper a decent entry of 51 considering the major drop in entries at various shows this past while . We must continue to support the breed clubs , they are the future . On the whole pleased with my main winners. More time needs spent on presentation and quite shocking to see so many young dogs with filthy teeth.

PD (3/1) D.Gibson . DIPDOWN MIDNIGHT SOLITARE. The first dog I put my hands on and what a disappointment that a exhibitor would present a dog to a judge at nearly 12months old with only 1 testicle. This dog could not be considered for  further awards.

ND (2/1) D.Gibson. DIPDOWN DAWN BRIGADE. A mature shaded sable who appealed for his size and substance . Well presented although his nails need serious attention . Correct length , plenty of neck, loved his temperament and attitude. I found his head long and narrow, lacked stop and eye much too round to give him a somewhat startled expression . Moved close but coming and going

PGD (4/1) L.D Jones . Erjon Euraser. Not a big lad, would like more length and height but having said that a very sound dog . Head handles so well, plenty of under jaw, correct amount of stop, tan very rich, lovely dark eye enhanced by well placed ears although would be a little light at times. In super condition, coat jet black and moved soundly in a directions with correct tail set
2. A&B Fox. ALANITA RAZZLE JAZZEL. A bigger frame than 1. I preferred his overall shape and size. Loved his rich colour  , very flashy and coat beautifully presented. Head correct length, perfect amount of stop, eye well placed but his expression spoilt by wide set ears.  He is much too fat and at times he was rolling on the move . Showed himself off beautifully and has a great attidute.
3. Dodsworth & Carr.  ROSSCHELL WILL I AM AT LIBANEL

LD (5/3). P&F Sargeant. COARHABEG SEA HAWK . Upstanding mature male and full of himself…love that! A good honest dog, loved his size, correct length, stands foursquare at all angles. Coat jet black well presented. His head just lacks stop for me and eye placement could be better which just spoiled his expression . Difficult for this big lad to get striding out in such a small ring but saw enough and sound in all directions
2. Calvert & Sargeant . COARHABEG SNOWY ALBATROSS WITH LENINGAY.  I see both a litter brothers and very similar in type to 1 except this lad is a b/m. Good size male , colour clear and well broken up. Moved ok just would prefer more under jaw

OD (5/2) V &P Sibbald . TELFORTH TONY. Have seen this dog many times ringside and have been dying to get my hands on him and I was not disappointed .A very easy winner just oozed breed type. His head so smooth, clean, perfect for under jaw, ears bang on top and used. His eye dark well placed and  gives the most melting expression. Well off for neck, correctly placed shoulders , plenty of chest. Stands correctly at all angles and very sound on the move although need more oompt and drive. To be critical I would prefer more of him and his handers works so hard to get the best out of him . Love to see him shown on a loose lead with more male attitude to complete the picture for me but having said that top quality male . Delighted to award his BEST MALE and BIS
2.FOX. ALANITA WHATS IT ALL ABOUT . A good honest dog who I have judged before and he did well . Unlucky to meet 1 today but still loved him enough to award Res Best Dog. A mature shaded sable in wonderful coat and condition . Correct head planes, ears well used, good for neck, correct length and he is a good size male . Very sound on the move but tail today just spoilt his outline

MPB (1/0) Jones . ERJON EXCLUSIVELY SPECIAL. Loved her attitude, full of mischief and at times can be unsettled but she is only a baby. She scored for bone and substance yet she is feminine . Delightful head and expression although ears a tad on the heavy side. Colour excellent , colour clear and well broken up. Moved well for a baby . Hope she doesn’t grow much more . Delighted to award her BPIS

YB (3/2) Fox. ERJON EUPHORIC FOR ALANITA. A tri almost 2 years. Totally out of coat but nothing to hide and I quite liked her. Lovely type, loved her shape, perfect size, scored for neck and outline. Head handles very well, correct amount of stop, ears well placed and lovely dark eye. Beautifully presented . Moved strong on the rear but to be critical I found her front pasterns weak and this affected her front movement

PGB (6/2)1. Brand. RONANSPREY RUMOUR HAS IT ShCM. A b/m at 3 years in fabulous condition. She appealed for her wonderful balanced shape, scored well for neck. Although not in full coat what she had was clear and well broken, beautifully presented and it was a joy to see her standing showing off her many virtues on a loose lead.  Very steady on the move , moving true both ways with correctly placed tail. A very feminine girl and she won a nice class. To be critical at times she tends to stand a little tucked under but a quality sound bitch and delighted to award her BEST BITCH & RBIS
2. Jones . ERJON EYE CANDY. My heartbreak of the day…she was miserable and gave her handlers nothing. I gave her every opportunity but she was having none of it . Loved her type, size perfect, tan rich and a lovely dark fresh jet black . Lazy on the move but straight and true just lacked drive. A quality bitch than could do more if she gives more
3. ROSSCHELL ICE KISS N THE MIST AT RONANSPREY

OB(5/2) 1. Brad & Reid. RONANSPREY MIDNIGHT KISS. What a delightful tri. I was later told she was litter sister to my best bitch winner and similar qualities apply. Very close between both girls. A very eye catching feminine girl in wonderful condition. Loved her size and appealed for shape and steady movement . Tends to stand untidy at times and this cost her in the final run of . A well deserved Res Best Bitch
2. Fox. DANFREBEK AMAZING GRACE ALANITA. A bigger bitch all round, lovely clean head with just the right amount of stop , ears well placed and used but a little full in eye which just spoilt her expression. Very sound on the move, tail carried correctly . A lovely honest bitch who just carries a little too much weight
3. Corney . YENROC FLUER DI E’COSSE
VB (5/4) Sargeant . COARHABEG KALEIDOSCOPE . At 9 half she is a credit to her owner for her condition, one of the very few with muscle and moved strong and true in all directions. A delightful girl great attitude and great showed herself off to full advantage ..Best Veteran
