I would like to express my sincere thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge a well run,  very organised, atmospheric show and the exhibitors who were all courteous and presented their dogs beautifully if a little wind swept at times.

Rough Collies
Puppy Walk (2)
Two litter mate smooths, who were both enjoying their day out

1. HOWARD MRS C J & MR M A  - Summer Shadows Shandlmain
   Litter mates these two smooth’s were enjoying their day and did not put a foot wrong, the bitch who I preferred had the sweetest expression, good bone and substance.  Her reach of neck along with a good length of back gave a super profile.  Where she excelled over her brother was on the move, with a good front reach holding her top line well.
2. HOWARD  MRS C J & MR M A  - Pesquero Premium Blu from Shandlmain

Much the same as one but needs to settle on the move loosing the puppy bounce and drive with more positivity sure this will come with age.

Veteran Dog (3, 2a)

1. WRAY MISS S L - Takhisis High Voltage
   For a veteran this gentleman was in lovely coat and condition and presented superbly.  He has a flat skull and correct stop, with a well moulded foreface, attentive to his handler using his ears none stop to give him a masculine but sweet expression.  He moved positively and with drive to cover the ground effortlessly. Minor Puppy Dog  (1)

1.  CARVEY MRS J & ROCKS MR J - Rashel One Moment in Time
   This young tri stood alone in his class but a worthy winner.  He has a jet black fitted coat, giving him a lovely outline enhanced by a good reach of neck and ample bone.  His head is clean with the correct length ratios, a well placed and shaped dark eye, he needs to fill in foreface but has time on his side for this to develop.  On the move he covered the ground well which his angulations would suggest.   BMPD

Puppy Dog (6, 3a)

1. LISTER MRS P E - Jotars Platinum Moon at Newarp
   Blue Merle dog who has a lot to like.  Superb  colour and coat of correct texture which was  beautifully presented. He has a sweet but masculine expression with correct set ears, and well filled foreface.  His head is clean with a flat skull and good under jaw leading to a good reach of neck and correct angulations front and rear.  Good bone and feet, on the move he needs to settle and get into his stride to compliment his make and shape. 2. LUDLOW MR I A & MRS M A - Tudorlyn Golden Dreamer for Malina
   Sable dog who was beautifully presented in good coat of correct texture.  Soft masculine expression but very reluctant to use his ears .   On the move he held his topline well and covered the ring with ease, would be nice to see his relax and show himself off.

Yearling Dog (2)

1.  RANDALL MR & MRS D & S - Ladnar Moondust
   Loved the expression of this tri dog super sweet yet masculine. He has a correct placed dark eye well filled foreface and flat skull enhanced by well used correctly placed ears.  His bone is lovely and rounded and he has the tightest feet.  On the move he covered the ring with ease holding a level topline, presented with not a hair out of place. 2. PAGE MRS A & MR J - Lynmead Amalie Bring me Back
   Sable dog who was definitely enjoying his day out, loved his enthusiasm and energy.  He was so attentive to his handler showing none stop, ears correctly positioned and used constantly lovely eye giving a sweet expression, good length of neck and back would have just liked more of him.

Undergraduate Dog (7 2a)

1.  SMITH MS L - Shandlemain Driftinstorm
   Later found out that this tri dog was related to my best dog , and he has much the same qualities.  Pleasing wedge shaped head, with slight stop, well used ears and correct eye placement,  his foreface needs to fill a little but still has a sweet but masculine expression. Good depth of chest and length of back, loved his rounded bone and tight feet.  On the move he held a good level topline and reached out well in front with good drive in the rear.

Post Graduate Dog (2)

1.  WRAY MISS S L - Takhisis Trick Or Treat
   Tri  dog lovely clean balanced wedge-shaped head,  good ear carriage, dark eye with well rounded muzzle combining to give sweet but masculine expression,  good reach of neck with good depth of chest and length of back. Moved well.
2. ARROWSMITH MS C E - Saganan Gundagal
   Lovely coloured blue merle,  who had the happiest of temperaments, good length of head with correct ratios, expressive eyes, ears were a little light not helped by the wind gusting across the ring.   Good length of back with correct angulations moved well covering the ground with ease.

Limit Dog (4, 1a)

1.  PAGE MRS A & MR J - Lynmead Amalie Let Me Go
   Sable who although finer than I would like he moved with such enthusiasm and drive and was a true showman.  Good stop and sweet expression his ears were correctly placed and used constantly.  Good length of neck and well angulated in front and rear, presented beautifully.
2. CARLYON MS L M & ADAMS MR R L - Bellcot Winter Bliszard At Dycoshem
   Blue merle of good size and substance,  Head  is clean with a flat skull and well filled foreface, ears a little wide set.  Good length of neck, held topline well on the move.
3. LUDLOW MR I A & MRS M A   - Maqueeba Just A Dream for Malina

Open Dog (5)

1.  MELLISH MISS M - Demelewis Catchmydrift
   Beautifully presented B/M dog in excellent coat and condition.  Pleasing wedge shaped head, with slight stop, well used ears and correct eye placement leading into a well filled foreface giving a sweet but masculine expression. Good depth of chest and length of back, loved his rounded bone and tight feet.  On the move he held a good level topline and reached out well in front with good drive in the rear.  Was pleased to award him BD. BOSIB. BOSIS
2. HULL MRS G M - Lizmark Gold Standard ShCM
   Sable beautifully presented in full coat, sweet expression and well used ears, good length of back and well angulated front and rear would just like more drive and positivity on the move.

Veteran Bitch (4, 2a)

1. COLLINO MISS D M -  Imaginist Moon Echo
   Blue bitch who belied her age, she has the sweetest of expressions yet distinguished and wise.  Her ears were well used and correctly set on a flat skull, with well filled foreface complimented by a well arched neck and good length to body.  On the move she held a level topline and covered the ring effortlessly. BVB. BVIB.
2. NEWTON MR & MRS J C & S - Fiorcara Sweet Laurel
   Sable bitch who also belied her age.  This lady had a beautifully presented shaded jacket covering a good length of back and well arched neck. Very attentive to her owner she had a sweet expression and head with correct length ratios, on the move she covered the ground well.

Minor Puppy Bitch (2)

1. RANDALL MR & MRS D & S -  Fata Turchina Ladnar Di Cambiano (Imp)
   WOW what a class of babies !!!  I loved both of these blue girls and I am sure they will change places throughout their show careers.   Superb colour lovely clean balanced wedge-shaped head,  good ear carriage, correctly placed and shaped eye with well rounded muzzle combining to give sweetest of  expressions,  good reach of neck and length of back.  Good angulations front and rear which resulted in effortless movement on well padded tight feet.  Correct length of tail which was held perfectly when on the move.  Beautifully presented.   BPB.BMPIB. 2. SMITH MRS M - Rashel Razzle Dazzle
   Much the same applies to this bitch as I have said about the winner of the class, just preferred the positive movement and reach of 1.

Puppy Bitch (5, 1a)

1.  WRAY MISS S L  - Beldones Pandora
   Sable presented in beautiful coat of correct texture, feminine  expression and head of good proportions, good reach of neck and good rounded bone.  She was very attentive to her handler and covered the ground well on the move holding her topline.
2. RYAN MS I - Scottrye Sweet Dream
   Tri well presented with a sweet expression, head handles well with a flat skull and correct eye placement.  Nice bone and substance, on the move she held her topline well and moved with drive.

Yearling Bitch (6 2a)

1. RANDALL MR & MRS D & S -  Ladnar Inkheart JW
   Tri who had instant appeal with a jet back well presented coat, excellent profile, very sweet feminine expression, with well filled foreface,  lovely ear set and well placed correctly shaped eye.  Super neck and rounded bone, well angulated both front and rear which showed on the move as she covered the ring effortlessly holding her topline and finishing with her round tight feet perfectly placed. 2. NEWTON MR & MRS J C & S  - Corydon Victoria Rose at Fiorcara
   Well presented Sable who had a lot to like.  She was very feminine with a sweet expression, head well balanced , ears well used and correctly placed, good neck and shoulders.  On the move she was positive and covered the ground well holding her topline with correct tail carriage.

Undergraduate Bitch (8, 3a)

1.  NEWTON MR & MRS J C & S  Corydon Victoria Rose at Fiorcara
2. STILLWELL MR P J & MRS G T - Bellawave Caught in a Dream
   Tri well presented with a feminine expression, flat skull and correct eye placement, she used her ears well to her advantage.  Nice body shape and substance, on the move she held her topline well and moved positively with drive.

5. SKINNER MISS S - Samhaven Time is Money with Nikal

Post Graduate Bitch (7, 3a)

1.  JACKSON MISS T - Sassari Sea Shimmer
   Super sweet blue with a very feminine expression, she showed none stop ears correctly placed with right amount tipping over.  Head well balanced and foreface well filled, in profile she had a good neck and length of back, on the move she covered the ground with ease and pushed hard in the final decisions.
2. SMITH MRS M - Rashel Follow Your Dream
   Another quality Tri exhibit and as always from this kennel excellently presented.   Sweet expression with correctly placed eye and ears,  good reach of neck and length of back.  Stood and showed well, moving with ease.
3. CARLYON MS L M & ADAMS MR R L  - Ladnar Kiss ‘n Temptation at Dycoshem
4. ARROWSMITH MS C E  - Saganan Dancing for Joy

Limit Bitch (2, 1)

1.  WELLS MR & MRS W B & S A - Welanga Fire Jade
   Stood alone in her class but this tri was enjoying her day out, standing and showing none stop for her handler.  Sweet expression with correct stop and dark eye.  In profile she had a good reach of neck and length of back.  Moved well.

Open Bitch (7)

1.  DAVIES MR M & MRS M - Tiganlea Silver Trinket at Sabiha
   Blue in superb form.  Excellent presentation of her abundant coat of correct texture.  Good depth of chest, reach of neck and length of back giving a lovely overall picture when standing.  Her head is clean with a flat skull and well filled back skull.  Eyes correctly placed with a moulded foreface giving a very feminine sweet expression enhanced by well used ears.  On the move she covered the ground with ease and plenty of enthusiasm. 2. BENTON MISS M K - Brooklynson Jane Russell of Oakestelle
   Well presented Sable bitch, well moulded foreface, good eye and correct amount of stop giving feminine expression,  good length of neck and back.  Well angulated front and rear which resulted in her being sound on the move.

4. MELLISH MISS M  - Corydon Victoriana for Demelewis

1.  FORBES MRS D A & MISS F L - Natalain Kilkenny at Willowhurst (Imp)
   Sable and white bitch, balanced throughout.  Head is clean with a well filled foreface, ears were well used and correctly placed combined with a lovely eye giving a feminine expression.  Good neck and length of back, on the move she had a good front and moved with drive at the rear holding a good level topline. RBOB

   Tri bitch well moulded head with good eye and ear placement, correct ratio of length set on well arched neck, good bone and substance, moved and stood well.

1.  HILLS MS V M - Devern Denman
   Tri dog good substance and bone, with good depth of chest.  His head handled well with a masculine expression and well filled foreface.  On the move he held a good topline with a good reach in front and drive at rear. BOSIB
2. BENTON MISS M K & WOOD MISS M L - Ch Oakestelle Vivaldi
   Tri dog who moved with ease and power around the ring.  Good head pattern, nice eye, balanced body shape with firm top line just would like more of him in bone and substance to give that masculinity and presence.

Open Bitch (4)

1.  BENTON MISS M K - Alopex Marionette at Oakestelle
   Blue bitch who I have judged previously and is now a veternan.  Her movement was effortless with a good extension and rear drive. Her colour superb and well broken up. Very nice head planes, and well placed ears, eye and stop, combining to give a very sweet ultra feminine expression. Nice size with body shape all in proportion.  BOB  BV BVIS

   Tri good length to head with a nice eye giving a sweet expression.  Good depth of chest and length of back, held a firm topline on the move.
