Rough Collies
I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge the Rough Collies at their show today. Also to my two stewards, who kept the proceedings running smoothly and efficiently. Lastly and not leastly, to the exhibitors for entering and exhibiting under me.

Puppy Dog (3)
1st. Boyle’s   Barrenclough Diamond Days 7mth Sable and White. Nice head and eye and has a lovely expression when he uses his ears. Nice body shape and bend of stifle. Moved well for his age just needs to tighten up at the rear which I am sure will come with time. Best Puppy Dog.
2nd. Iley’s Jack Black Ileyda 11mth Tri who was unsettled due to a fright that he had got at a previous show. Lovely head and eye, with a lovely expression when he uses his ears. Nice shape and lovely length of tale moved well
3rd Corben’s  Caprioara Prince Of Thieves

Iley’s Lynmack Tommy Hilfiger By Ileyda 16th Sable and White. Nice head with rounded muzzle. Nice almond shaped eye. Used his ears well and responded to his handler well. Nice shape with good length of neck. Moved well.
2nd. Iley’s Jack Black Ileyda

1st. Hollinshead’s Starlyn Diamonds ‘R’ For Ever 3yr old Blue Merle of lovely colour and well broken up. Lovely head with well-rounded muzzle flat scull and almond eye. Has the loveliest of expressions when he uses his ears. Lovely reach of neck into well shaped shoulders, deep chest with good angulation at the rear which enabled him to move with drive keeping a level top line on the move both fore and aft. Was pleased to award him Best Dog and Best of Breed. Wish him well for the future.
2nd. Cook and Watkins Jopium Marley With Whatacoo. 4year old Tri dog, nice head with the correct amount of stop. Lovely almond shaped eye and expression. Nice reach of neck and good depth of chest. Has the correct angulation which allowed him to move well.
3rd. Iley’s Lynmack Tommy Hilfiger By Ileyda

1st. Cooney’s Jopium Stole My Heart At Lingwell. 3 year old Sable and White he has the most melting of expressions when he uses his ears. Has a lovely rounded muzzle, correct stop and ear placing and almond shaped eye. Lovely reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Correct bend of stifle. Moved with drive. Did consider him for Best Dog but was unsettled by the wind and was pipped by the blue but 2 really nice dogs that can move with the desired drive. Reserve Best Dog.
2nd. Melvin and Jopson’s Starlenga Streets Ahead At Nithview 3year old Sable and White who is another lovely dog. Deep chest Lovely head, eye and expression. Uses his ears well. Nice shape and angulation and responds well to his handler. Well presented as usual from this kennel. Moved out well both going and coming
3rd. Savage’s Savataurus’s Only The Lonely

1st. Scott’s Ainesh  Touch Of Black 2 year old Tri with a flat scull and rounded muzzle and almond shaped eye. Nice shape and angulation. Lovely black coat in good condition moved well.
2nd. Boyle’s Barrenclough Moonglow JW Sh.CM  3 year old Sable and White Nice head and eye but was reluctant to use his ears today; however has a nice expression when he does. Nice lay of shoulders and depth of chest. Moved well.
3rd. Fairgrieve’s Muldoanich Highland Laddie

Puppy Bitch (4) (1)
1st. Brooker’s Lovely Flower Du Bois Des Amazones For Corisian (Imp) a year old today and her last puppy class, loveliest of heads with the right amount of stop. Ears bang on top of her head which she used non-stop giving her a lovely melting expression. Lovely almond shaped eye. Has a reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Lovely angulation and well let down hocks which allow her to move with drive. Never stopped showing the whole time she was in the ring. Was pleased to award her Best Bitch and Best Puppy in Breed, am sure that she will go far and wish her all the best.
2nd. Steven’s Cariadhaf Cookies And Cream  11 month Tri bitch. Different type to one nice head and eye would like her ears to be a bit higher set, was reluctant to use her ears but has a nice expression when she does. Nice shape and angulation moved well but gets excited and gets fond of her tail. Well presented.
3rd. Boyle’s Barrenclough Golden Pearl

1st. McGill and Boyd’s Lynmack Edge Of Glory At Stregato. 15mth Sable and White lovely head and eye with melting expression. Nice rounded muzzle with correct ear carriage. Good reach of neck and depth of chest. Nice angulation and well let down hocks. Moved well keeping a level top line at all times.
2nd. Melvin and Jopson’s  Nithview  Summer Lovin 15 month Sable and White who unfortunately left her coat at home, and on another day could have changed places with one. Lovely head with flat scull and rounded muzzle, she has the sweetest of expressions and very responsive to her handler. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders and nice angulation moved well.

Post Graduate Bitch (10) (4)
1st. Fox’s Alanita Gaze Away 5 year old Sable and White well balanced head and flat scull. Lovely almond shape eye and well used ears giving her a lovely expression.  Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders and nice angulation, good depth of chest.  Moved well and stood four square at the back. Reserve Best Bitch.
2nd. Brand and Reid’s  Ronansprey Rumour Has It.  3 year old Blue Merle who is of good colour. Nice head and eye with the correct amount of stop and her ears are on top of her head which she uses well. Lovely shape with good angulation moved well.
3rd. Copsey’s Alanita Jasmyn Thro The Mist At Roshura

1st. Whitaker’s Jopium Magical Dream 4 year old Tri who has the blackest of coats. Lovely well balanced head with correct stop. Used her ears non-stop giving her a lovely expression. Good reach of neck and deep chest. Good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Very attentive to handler. Moved well.
2nd. Brand and Reid’s Ronansprey Midnight Kiss  3 year old with jet black coat. Well balanced head which is lovely to handle with nice almond shaped eye. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Good shape and angulation. Moves with drive from the rear keeping a level top line on the move.
3rd. Fox and Moore’s Danfrebek Amazing Grace For Alanita

1st. Copsey’s Alanita Jasmyn Thro The Mist At Roshura  3 year old tri who was 3rd in the Post Grad Class, and one who is so attentive to her handler. Nice head with well moulded foreface and almond shaped eye. Nice reach of neck. Lovely shape and well angulated. Moved and presented well.
