Guildford and District Open Show 27th May 2015
Thank you to all the exhibitors for the entries and sportsmanlike response to my decisions.
Rough Collies
Puppy
- Stillwell’s Bellawave Caught in a Dream. 11 months old tricolour bitch presented and handled well. Well up to size with good bone. Decent construction with reasonable angles fore and aft. Good ear carriage and decent head planes would just like a slightly sweeter eye. BP
- Hull’s Lizmark Bek’s Beauty. Pretty sable and white of finer type. Pretty expression. Ok for shape would like more strength on the move.
Junior
- Foster and Madge’s Jaysur Bluebell. Very pretty blue- merle bitch with good head planes. Decent body shape just needs to lengthen a smidge. Well angulated and moved reasonably well. RBOB
- Howard’s Sassari Sugar Moon- shapely tricolour bitch with pretty head and expression. Well presented. Moved reasonably well.
- Collino’s Wicani Altitude at Imaginist. Substantial tricolour male, kind eye and decent head planes. Well angled but needs to strengthen in rear movement which should come with time.
- Foster and Madge’s Shep’s Moondance at Jaysur- in his summer clothes! Elegant young man with kind eye but still very raw. Moved ok.
Postgraduate
- Collino’s Imaginist Moves Like Jagger. Well up-to-size and substantial tricolour male. Kind expression but a bit deep through . Well angled fore and aft however less coat would enhance his overall impression.
- Page’s Lynmead Amalie Let Me Go. Sable and white dog- rather small and feminine but well constructed and moved well. More length all through would enhance. Kind expression and good ear carriage.
- Glover’s Caprioara Blueberry Charm at Stormsett- Blue merle dog of nice type and balance but a bit narrow all through. Movement was ok.
Open
- Hull’s Lizmark Gold Nugget- Tricolour bitch built on elegant proportions. Pretty head and expression with good head planes and good ear carriage. Moved well would just like a little more width all through. BOB
- Howard’s Darahill Chaos at Sablemyst – Sable and white dog. Decent head with sweet expression. Reasonable construction and moved ok. Well-handled and presented.

- Lusty’s Juniperwood Just a Dream. Beautifully constructed and balanced tricolour bitch who moved out well in this strong class. Good head planes with sweet eye and expression. BOB
- Peacock’s Blamorder Back to the Start at Saraneth- Elegant tricolour bitch just not quite the head properties of one. Well -constructed with good angulatio.n Moved out very well once settled. RBOB. Thrilled to see her win the RBOB stakes later in the day.
- Lusty’s Juniperwood Dream Maker at Blamorder. Veteran tricolour bitch with lovely head and eye. Well-constructed but moved somewhat erratically today.
- Oakestelle Indie Rock at Stormsett. Feminine tricolour bitch. Good ear carriage and reasonable head planes. Decent construction. Moved ok.
- Lusty’s Blamorder Back with a Dream. Mismarked blue merle. Very well constructed and balanced with pretty head and expression in spite of her pricked ears. Moved out well.
