Apologies for the lateness of the critique I did send it previously but it must have gone astray somewhere in the process. Thank you for your patience.

The Collie Club of Wales
Graig Memorial Hall, Bassaleg, Newport Gwent
3rd October 2015

I would like to thank the committee for entrusting me with the task of judging their breed club open show. It was a great honour to be asked. It was unfortunate that due to circumstances beyond the clubs control that they were unable to have their usual date which meant collie exhibitors had a choice of clubs scheduling both roughs and smooths throughout the south and west of the country together with a host of well known judges to choose from. With South West Working and Pastoral Group(s) show scheduling both breeds and practically on the doorstep, I had anticipated a no-show. I was very surprised then to get a good entry on the day albeit that the males were rather thin on the ground.

By and large I was pleased with the quality and presentation of the exhibits and athough numbers were low on the ground there was a lovely atmosphere and everyone seemed to enjoy the day.

Here follows my class results.
