PUPPY PACKS - WHAT TO EXPECT

A 'Puppy Pack' is given by the breeder to the new puppy’s owner at the time of the sale.

It is prepared by the breeder of your puppy and not only contains kennel club registration details, pedigree and change of ownership form, but also food, leaflets, sometimes a blanket, and toys and anything the new owner might find useful.

Every puppy pack is different depending on the breeder.

A puppy pack will also usually contain the following and/or the breeder will have given you advice on grooming, worming etc .......

Dog Food - the same food that your new puppy has been weaned on

Diet sheet

Worming regime - when puppy was last wormed, product used and when next worming is due

Health Screening/DNA tests - including details of MDR1 and what medication you should avoid giving your Collie

Some breeders will supply toys and blankets with the smell of the mum and siblings to help your puppy adjust for their first few nights in their new home
