Breed Notes

A quiet week, prior to the hustle and bustle of both the British Collie and Crufts, so hopefully folk are preparing dogs/cars and everything for these 2 events

However this weekend saw a Joint BAD/MCE day for the breed hosted jointly by the Collie Club of Wales and Midland Collie. To all who took part, be it exhibitors with dogs or those attending, I hope you enjoyed the day.

Many of our 14 breed clubs have yet to organise a BAD/MCE/Mentor day, please, do think of your forthcoming judges and perhaps get together and hold one jointly. It is a KC Requirement that Club’s do hold these events and surely a joint approach is better than none!
The next planned BAD day is to be held by EACA  on 25th June and details concerning this can be obtained from Secretary, Miranda Blake on 01636.626321 or preferably by e mail on: mirandacorydon@gmail.com but places are going quickly.
