MAGENTA MONET

WECS - Open Show - September 2011 - Blackmore's Magenta Monet - A lovely quality upstanding male in top form today. Super coat and condition, presented to perfection. Lovely overall body shape with good angulations front and rear. Plenty of bone and substance which I do like to see on a male. Good depth of chest, nice topline with slight rise over the loins. Head handles very well, balanced with correct stop, lovely moulded muzzle, gorgeous eye and expression. Correctly placed ears which he used very well. Moved very true and with drive.
Midland Collie Championship Show - February 2012 - Magenta Monet - I have not seen this dog since a puppy, has grown into a lovely mature male. Very pleasing outline, good length of neck and height to length ratio. Clean wedge head, correct stop, dark almond eye giving desired expression, lovely moulding to muzzle and good underjaw. A little reluctant to show off his ears but well set. Firm level topline, raise over loin, good bend of stifle, short upright hocks, neat feet, well off for bone in a good well presented harsh coat. This dog is so sound in his movement, good reach in front, and lovely drive from rear, not just because he is well constructed but has very good muscletone giving him his sound movement. RCC
WELKS - April 2012 - Blackmore’s Magenta Monet. First judged this upstanding S/W at Paignton [2009] awarding him PBIB. My word how he has flourished and matured into a really handsome dog, every inch a male. His owner should be very proud. Balanced standing and moving. Has gorgeous head, so clean with not a hint of coarseness. Beautiful rounded muzzle, strong underjaw, good dentition, well-filled foreface, has slight but perceptible stop, flattest of skull, expressive dark eyes obliquely set giving sweet melting expression, neat ears, tipped correctly and used to advantage.
Good arched reach of neck, excellent depth of chest into brisket, good length of back and spring of ribs. Well muscled second thighs, good bend of stifle enabled him to motor round the ring with purpose and drive, keeping level topline. Close decision for BOB but lost to extra charisma of the bitch. Well fitted coat, groomed to perfection. All in all a ‘bosting’ Collie.  Pleased to award him the DCC, his first.
London Collie Club Championship Show - June 2012 - Judge P Skyrme - Blackmore’s Magenta Monet, s/w, lovely moulded head, good stop, dark eye of good set & shape giving desired expression. Ample neck, good front & length of back into good rear angulation. Marred slightly by missing coat over loin. Clean well presented coat, stood four square, moved well. RCC
London Collie Club Championship Show - June 2015 - Judge A Hollywood - 1st Blackmore’s Magenta Monet.  A old favorite of mine and one I have admired many times from the ringside.  This is the first time I had the honor of judging him and what a pleasure it was. Such a lovely dog who has great bone and lovely substance being strong and steady but not heavy nor over done. I just love his overall type with such balance throughout and he has super bone. Great neck, correct front and rear angulation, short strong hocks. He just kept getting better. Head is lovely, of correct length  and one piece. His foreface is well rounded and masculine but not a trace of coarseness. His stop is in the correct place and so smooth and clean.  Lovely ear carriage constantly used and the sweetest eye and expression you could imagine. Sound as a pound in all directions  and I was very pleased to award him RCC.

DERBYPARK DAME EDNA AT MAGENTA

Richmond - September 2018

Blackmore, Derbypark Dame Edna at Magenta . Wow ! that’s my notes . I got goosebumps when I looked at her and I looked at her a lot. For me she has it all. My hands all over her from tip of her nose to tail she was oozing quality. Not the best showgirl but it didn’t matter, just needs some work to tidy up the loose ends. It’s my first time ever to see her and let’s hope we shall see her a lot more. Without any hesitation the RCC

L & P Ch Show - November 2019

1st Blackmore`s Derbypark Dame Edna at Magenta.  Love the cheeky expression on this Tri, she has a very nice wedge shaped head with slight stop, sweet dark eye, flat skull and good under jaw. She is well proportioned all through with good body lines and deep chest. Her coat fitted her outline to a T which enabled everyone to see her lovely shape, on the move she didn't disappoint she covers the ground easily, l liked her a lot and she was a close contender.
