Cambrogan Blowin a Hoolie - 'Brooke'

Brooke has started her show career off pretty well, wining her Crufts place at her second show and by the age of 9 months being best puppy bitch at east of England champ show, best puppy in breed at 2 open shows and also pastoral puppy group 1 at 2 open shows, not to mention her numerous other first and second places at open and champ show levels. The girl has a lot of energy and enthusiasm and I am loving every second with her.

Brooke has also so far achieved her good citizen bronze and silver awards, only held back from sitting gold as she is not yet 1year old.

Steven’s Cambrogan Blowin A Hoolie – Just turned 6mths old sable bitch she has a lovely head such a kind eye, super ears, tight lip line would prefer more underjaw. Nice neck and back ratio good angulation. Excellent length of tail. A little slack in movement at present which I am sure will tighten with age.

S Steven Cambrogan Blowin A Hoolie. A nice sable whom I am sure will get better as matures, correct head shape with correct ears, lovely eye giving sweet expression, good arch of neck correct shoulders, good length of back, nice turn of stifle, good movement. Be interesting to see her mature.

Steven’s Cambrogan Blowin A Hoolie. Another S/W slightly less mature than first at 7 months of age. Was in good coat and condition and had a clean head for its age. Just preferred the overall shape of the winner.

Steven’s Cambrogan Blowin A Hoolie. Pleasing head and eyes, ears still needs to settle, excellent front and forechest, good shoulder layback, body coming on well, still moving close in rear and tail carried too high, very promising.

Steven’s Cambrogan Blowin A Hoolie 7 month old s/w bitch of good shape, nice wedge head with well placed oblique eye & well placed ears. Well constructed, with good reach of neck and shoulder angulation. Good topline and bone. Moved and showed well. BP & Pastoral Puppy 2.

Pastoral Puppy 1 Steven Cambrogan Blowin A Hoolie. A lovely RC who was unfortunate to up against older dogs in her breed class, full of breed type and extremely cheeky. Moved better in this class than previously. Feminine head with a sweet expression, beautiful coat and colour but to be slightly critical watch her weight as this could lead to her rolling on the move.

Steven’s Cambrogan Blowin A Hoolie. 8 month s/w, larger puppy than winner but again all in proportion. Has a good depth of body and keeps a level top line on the move. Slightly longer in foreface but a decent underjow, would prefer a more almond shaped eye. However she has neat ears and great showmanship. Was in good coat for age which was well groomed. covered the ground with ease, just needs to tighten in front movement.

Steven’s Cambrogan Blowin A Hoolie. Best Puppy, pastoral puppy 1. A good moving, classy youngster with a feminine, pleasing expression. Well coated and shown in good order. Kept her outline well here and in the group.

1. Steven Cambrogan Blowin A Hoolie S/W with a good head to handle, correctly placed stop, would prefer a smaller eye. Lovely reach of neck with correct length of back, fair turn of stifle. Moved well. She can play her handler up and sometimes is happy with her tail.

Steven’s Cambrogan Blowin A Hoolie. Promising puppy with a lovely head and expression. Good construction with good neck and length of back. Movement rather erratic but she was enjoying her day as a puppy should. Handled very well to get the best from her whilst still allowing her to be a baby.

Steven’s Cambrogan Blowin A Hoolie. Sable, just finishing her puppy career, this sable was expertly handled. Larger than first but again moved well with drive. Liked her tail a tad but she really enjoyed her day. Head balanced but not the expression l look for.



 

 

Cariadhaf Crazy Dream - 'Brodie'

Mr K S Wilberg (Blackpool champ show June 2015 ): Steven's Cariadhaf Crazy dream, Promising puppy of excellent type. Nice head and expression, moves well.

Mr A Jammett (East of Scotland Canine Club open July 2015) : This 8month old rough collie dog showed his socks off. Good head, well placed ears and a great expression complemented good construction and a very good balanced movement.

Ms Jane Powers (Kirkcaldy and district canine club open August 2015):  8 month old sable. Lovely proportioned head, medium dark eye giving desired expression. Good ear placement, strong neck of good length. Oval feet. Firm back and good angulation to rear. Moved very well and with purpose for his handler.

Mr William Fulton (Upperward of Lanarkshire Open August 2015): 9 month old sable male wit ha good head, correct bite, dark eye and well set ears. The depth,spring and length of ribs all correct. Good bone, not to heavy not to fine. Moved well although he did fly his tail slightly not enough to prevent me awarding him BOB.

Ms Sophie Wray (Scottish Collie Club open show September 2015): Good length of back and good short hocks but would have preferred more neck. He has a good clean head with a flat scull and well placed ears. Showed well but needed a bit more confidence on the move.

Mr J Robinson (Scottish Breeds open show October 2015) : Nice, well constructed collie with a nice head and sweet expression, well handled and presented.

Mr J Chorley (Collie association champ show November 2015): This young dog caught my eye as he entered the ring. Lovely head with a nice eye and sweet expression, good neck into correct shoulders, nice length of body well angulated rear and moved out well. RDCC.
July 2016 1st place Yearling dog at NWPBs under judge Dave Gordon with the Critique: "1st  Steven's Cariadhaf Crazy Dream  20mth s/w, well balanced head ears on top, good dark almond eye - pigmentation, good stop, well rounded muzzle, bite, reach of neck, deep chest, brisket, good withers, well laid shoulders, spring of rib, loin, bend of stifle, hocks, good coat level top line moved well, excellent presentation"

"sable and white, this boy is very nice to handle, he has a very clean head, good ears which he used really well, which gave him an alert expression. Good shoulders, and body shape moved very true, just needs to mature and rather proud of his tail"

BPB, Boy just had the edge for BPIB on back skull"

June 2017 at Three Counties championship show under E.Peach - 1st place graduate bitch " Stevens Cariadhaf Cookies and Cream, eye catching tri with sparkling white shawl. Super shape and make. Well designed head topped by active ears. lovely outline, quarters right front and rear, well boned legs. Moved soundly & stood & presented herself for all to see. Promising exhibit.
