LONDON COLLIE CLUB
OPEN SHOW 28th OCTOBER 2017
REFEREE MRS J MARGETTS

The weather held for us and a lovely day of judging outside with plenty of room for exhibitors to set up.

Best In Show

Two lovely exhibits put forward by their respective judges awaited me.  On handling both my final decision went to the Rough Collie Bitch Jopium Fascinator for her overall shape and make, she has a lovely sweet expression moving out well with  low carried tail and level topline, the Smooth Collie Ch Kevranna  Theras Enate Echo is also is well made throughout  with good  length of neck, striding out well round the ring  and showing herself to advantage and gaining Res Best In Show.

Best Opposite Sex In Show

Smooth Collie Brackenhaye Fields of Gold, no mistaking his sex, well made in all departments which enabled him to move out with positive action fore and aft, both dogs stood and showed, being very attentive to their handlers. My decision went to the smooth who had the stronger movement on the day .
BD Rough Collie Moondance De Cabrenysset For Brihow a gorgeous coloured blue merle with a stunning head and expression in good coat and condition one that will continue to mature on.

Best Puppy in Show and Best Veteran In Show was amicably decided between both judges
