Many thanks to the committee, my stewards and exhibitors for making me so welcome, for their support and the opportunity to judge this show.

Puppy Dog (2 entered; 1 absent)

1st Randall’s Ladnar Moondust; What a super young male! 9 month old tri boy with super bone and substance. Masculine expression, nice dark eye, good ear set, flat skull, lovely underjaw, good reach of neck, although I would have preferred a slightly longer back, which I’m sure will come with maturity. Good depth and spring of rib, excellent bend of stifle and hocks well let down. This boy has the most exquisite feet, tight, well arched toes and well padded underneath. He moved extremely well, very confident and was presented in absolutely pristine condition. I look forward to following his progress in the future. BEST PUPPY DOG and well deserved.

Lovely long arched neck, super shoulder placement, length of back, slight rise over loin and low tail set. Absolutely effortless movement, covered the ground with ease, good reach and plenty of drive. Delighted to award him RESERVE BEST DOG.

2nd Dodsworth & Carr’s Rosschell Will I Am At Libanel; 2 year old tri, a different type to 1st, shorter, deeper skull, ears low-set but used to advantage, sweet eye and expression, I would prefer much less stop. Very nice, balanced overall make and shape, good length of neck and back, good shoulder placement and rear angulation. Rather proud of her tail, which spoiled her outline on the move, but she did move soundly when moved again by the steward at a more suitable speed.

2nd Melvin & Jopson’s Nithview Summer Lovin; 7 month old s/w very pretty baby, absolutely groomed to perfection, but who needs to mature. Different type to 1st, very feminine expression, good ear set, shorter length of skull, would prefer less stop, good length of neck but would prefer a little more length of back. Good shoulder placement although front and rear assembly is still a little too loose on the move. She will mature into a very pretty, sassy girl but on the day looked immature against the class winner. Full marks for confidence and I wish her well in her career.

Good reach and length of neck, back and slight rise over loin. This girl has a lovely topline too.
